When you think about lowering your Sport Truck or SUV, historically the most overlooked component is the shock absorbers, with many Sport Truck or SUV owners simply leaving the factory units installed as a "good enough" after thought. However, when you lower your Sport Truck or SUV, many of the components that you will use reduce the effective travel of the shock absorbers and can render your OEM shock absorbers virtually useless. This results in not only poor ride quality & reduced driving enjoyment, but a large safety concern. The first time you need to perform an emergency maneuver like swerving to avoid a child, animal or another vehicle on the road, you will quickly find out exactly what we mean. Excessive body roll and an incredible amount of front lean on braking, and rear dip on acceleration are all effects of a shock absorber (or more appropriately named damper) that is not working correctly as it is out of its element or operating range. You have effectively tied the dampers hands behind its back, not enabling it to do its job and control or dampen the movements of the suspension. Belltech's parent company KW automotive is a world leader in shock absorber technology and is relied upon for their expertise in suspension tuning by some of the world's most demanding OEM and Aftermarket companies such as the ACR Viper team at Chrysler, Mercedes AMG, Novitec Ferrari, and Hennessey Motorsports. KW automotive engineers in conjunction with Belltech Engineers have spent countless hours designing and tuning a complete new line of shock absorbers exclusively engineered for Belltech Sport Truck, SUV & Muscle Car applications.

I've ran stock shocks, IHC, Monroe airshocks, and one other brand. Nothing rides with similar quality as these do, paired with an air bag set up for towing these are fantastic.

These ride amazing. I had nitro drop shocks before they were too soft. Then I had the djm2100 shocks and they were too stiff. These are perfect for my Silverado 1500 crew cab with a 4/6 drop.

These were night and day compaired to the nitro drop shocks. Spend the extra 20$ and grab these. They were mint on my 6" flip kit for my 06 sierra

Have a set in two lowered trucks now with no complaints.

My 16 silverado is on a ihc 4/6 drop and the ride was horrible with the supplied shocks. I was bottoming out and banging the frame hard on anything. Put these on and it was like i didnt have shocks before, it was that much of a difference. I still bottom out every now and then but not like before.Well worth the little money spent.

Great shocks for lowered trucks. Replaced Air Shocks on a 4/6 dropped nbs Silverado with these Belltech. I recommend spending the extra cash with these over the Nitro 2s, which are a bit less stiff and too bouncy.

Put these on the rear of my 2014 GMC Sierra crew cab with a 5” rear drop and it rides great. Rides as good or better than the new bilsteins I had on it. Had to change to these because even with shock extenders the shocks will bottom out with a 5” drop. These don’t have the cheesy bushings etc you see in some aftermarket shocks. These are really nice and are 4.5” shorter overall than stock length bilsteins I took off. I had about 2.5” of suspension travel with the shock extenders and the stock length shocks so they bottomed out on any decent size bump or with anything in the bed. I’ve only had them a few days but so far they are great and ride really good

I installed two of these on my 2008 Silverado 1500 2wd single cab. Originally the person before me had air shocks on it and they leaked and were rough riding. Installed these in their place and the ride is a lot better. I did have a little trouble fitting them in but I think that is from the installer before who had the mounts pushed in too far to get the previous shocks to work. I was able to get them spread back out with a sledge. Very surprised to find it put my ride height to exactly what it was before with the back axle flip kit. P.s An impact gun will save you time and knuckle busting.
