I have found that if you use this outdoors to hang an item like a small security camera, after hot & cold it will definitely let go & be almost impossible to remove. I have used it indoors to hold keyboard pedals in place, hang pictures & mirrors, etc. & eventually the item it is holding lets go. The biggest problem after that is it is impossible to just "remove" the tape - it has done everything from remove the paper backing & paint from drywall to make me pry the stuff off the floor a millimeter at a time. I'm sure the original idea behind this stuff was good, but there is no longevity to it. Definitely don't recommend putting this on ANY sensitive or valuable surface. I bought three rolls & threw away the remainder of the first roll & both the other two.

Easy to use ,it sticks everything ,Ive put it on a mat that where the corners turn up on the corners it’s lays flat …..ur receptacle cords u can tuck them away with this tape …the hem on ur pants ….its so good I’ve given it as a gift ….it comes in a package of three it’s a must buy

I bought the tape to use to hang my Christmas lights on my porch. Works perfect and doesn’t damage the vinyl- my porch is wood with vinyl/aluminum coating. I wouldn’t recommend using on painted wood though, did that last year and some paint did come off when removed.

I used this tape in my classroom hallway to hold projects and it is the best thing ever! It is so easy to cut to size and the stickiness is spot on. The projects were all different weights and the tape was able to hold them all with ease. The tape itself did not tear easy. It is the most durable tape I have ever purchased. Picture shows some of the projects the tape is holding.

As a teacher, the worst thing in the world is having to constantly rehang decor / posters onto my cement classroom walls. This tape is AWESOME. I used up about a roll for this past school year and my things did not fall off the wall once the entire school year. It is a bit time consuming to take off items because of how strong the adhesion is, but definitely worth it! Will be using this every year in my classroom.

I bought the Alientape by Bell+Howell Nano Double Sided Tape, to hold down a rug on my laminate flooring. It is supposed to be non-slip, but when the dogs run in and out of the house it moves all over the place. I cut pieces and attached the Alien Tape to the rug on all four corners and then secured it to the floor. I held great for about two weeks then the rug started moving. When I checked, the tape had come off the rug and was still attached to the laminate flooring. I am sure the reason it came off the rug is that the surface was not smooth as suggested. The Alien Tape took a little bit to get off my laminate flooring, but did not damage it. My issue was that I could not pick up the rug to mop under it without having to replace the tape every time, as it is not reusable. It would be nice if you could lift the rug and replace it a few times before having to replace the tape.

Sticky tape but in our experience does not work as advertised. First it does not hold the 17lbs as advertised. I attempted to use it to hold up an eight pound 30" speaker bar. It could not do the job. Second complaint is it is not easily removed. I had to use a razor blade to get it off glass. Reusable? I used some to stick my Roku to the TV bottom. Bought a new TV and moved the Roku to the new set. Mutilated the tape getting it off. Rinsed it as directed and let it dry. I did reuse the tape but it was difficult and didn't work well. I had to hold it for a long time but eventually it held. Do not use this on a painted surface, preferably glass or metal. I pointed out the cons, the pros are it is a two sided sticky tape that holds. We hold a Rooma floor charger in place with it, holds well when nothing else would do the job. Also we had an area rug edge that insisted on tripping people. The Rug tape designed to hold it down didn't last long, was difficult to use and failed after a few days. The Alien tape is working great. Over all I recommend it knowing its limitations.
