If this won’t hold you’re not using it how it was intended. The pics are how much tape I had on the bottom of my height speakers for an atmos setup. To be sure they didn’t fall on someone’s head I did also put metal pipe clamp around which was ugly so I’m redoing it now with more of this tape and just a big zip tie to be sure. Also pictured if they let me put up multiple pics is the butter knife I had to hammer in just to get it to release enough to pull the speaker off -which was still difficult. I just think that pic is funny so…That said I think this tape is pressure sensitive and I did have it clamped with the pipe clamp so it was really on there.I put a pic for reference of how much tape was on the speaker and spray painted (particle board?). If you push hard enough it will stay as long as it was sickly when you put it on.It seems to come off of most surfaces pretty well as far as residue once you finally get the tape itself off.I really like this stuff, just be prepared for a fight when the time fumes to remove it if you over do it. lol.

We used this to label products in our cooler at our store. I was worried about it staying inside the cooler but it sticks very well and was super easy to use. You can cut it down to make it as smal or big as you need. Great quality, easy to use, and very strong.

As with all things Gorilla, this stuff works well. Used to mount some bird spikes to a metal outdoor light. We'll see how well it holds up. Cutting this is a bit of a chore as it wants to stick to the knife or scissors. Be sure to use a sharp tool to cut.

I used this tape in my classroom to post things on my wall because we were not allowed to use hot glue. It was very sturdy and strong. The only thing that it would not hold up was a mirror that I was using in my affirmation station. The mirror did not exceed the weight limit that was on the packaging so I do not know why it would not hold. That is why I gave it 4 stars. Also, it is hard to peel off. You will need scissors to work with the tape. Overall the price was good for the product.

You would think that tape is just tape, but clear acrylic mounting tape is truly legions ahead of the foam version. I've tried both, and while the foam one works, the clear one is way more versatile.Pros of acrylic:* Strong adhesion, enough to adhere posters, wall accessories, and the like* Easy to remove, comes off in one piece which is really important when you have an apartment or only want it to be temporary* Clear color. Helps to hide it if you aren't just directly covering it* Holds better in hot weather. I've used this to keep cables from moving in my car and this stuff sticks better when it's hot compared to the foam ones* Way more waterproof than foam. I use it to mount a sponge holder and it's been great.* Lasts way longer than foam. I've kept both inside a dry and cool drawer and I found that the foam one eventually loses its stickiness when just lying around. I won't fault the foam version too much since I've had it for a year or so inside the drawer, but the acrylic one stays sticky.Cons of acrylic:* More expensive per foot/meter. Not really an issue for me since I only use it sparingly, but might be a deal breaker for others.* Foam versions usually have a higher weight limit. If you are mounting heavier objects, you might need to buy foam versions instead.* Peeling and cutting is a pain. Scissors love to not cut properly from my experience and the film they use to prevent it from sticking to each other is unbelievably frustrating if you clipped your nails recently.I love using this for posters, sticking cables onto the wall (which is a budget way of cable management, don't judge), and mounting things like hooks and a sponge holder.

Used it to hold up bobble head Spider-Man on the dashboard of my car. The tape melted within a week and poor Spider-Man flopped down. Scotch 3M holds up another toy and that has not budged. Need I say more.
