Love this can opener!!! I just tossed my old broken down one from a much more pricy brand, and this is so much better!!! I love tge fact that the lid comes off without a sharp edge!

This can opener had me immediately throwing my old can opener into the recycle bin! Why did I put up with that old thing for so many years??? My old can opener rarely made it around the lid without leaving frustrating gaps where the lid wasn't cut from the cans. My old can opener always left me with very sharp lids and cans too - but not my new Bellemain can opener! All the edges of the lids and cans are smooth and injury-free and the Bellemain can opener takes off my can lids every time without an exasperating struggle! Best kitchen can opener I've ever owned (easy on my almost 68 year old wrists, too!) It's also made in America. Love it! Thank you, Bellemain!

Does exactly what it says it will do - and does it easily. Arthritis? No problem (unless yours is severe - it does take a little effort to turn but for me it is the easiest one I've ever used. Love it!

Tried to open multiple cans, each time I can't pull the top off because the grabber isn't holding on. Had to use a knife to open my cans five times now

I can't use the regular hand can openers without breaking them. Every time. No matter their quality (or cost). I bought this can opener 4 years ago and it's still opening cans flawlessly every time!!!The knob and gears turn effortlessly. It separates the top from the can as opposed to cutting it off. This method means there aren't sharp edges on the can or it's top. Also there's no risk of a dirty top falling into the can 🤢. Plus u can put the top back on the can (especially convenient if your fur baby only eats half a can of food at once). I especially like the pincers that grab the edge of the can top. They make breaking seal easier when taking the top off the can.

I purchased this can opener to replace the one I had from pampered chef and I LOVE IT!! It is easy to use and I really love that it’s a single handle. It fits on the cans easily and opens every size can with ease. It’s comfortable in my hand and is the perfect design for a manual can opener. I give it 5 stars and truly appreciate the quality of this opener at such an affordable price. I highly recommend it and am ordering two more for Christmas gifts.

UPDATE: Turns out there was a small page with instructions that I missed. It's SO easy to use now that I know how LOL [FYI - turning the knob in reverse will get the opener to release]Still a pain to drain tuna, but that's not the can openers fault. LOVE this opener and how easy it is on my hands and wrists. Highly recommend.***I just can't seem to make this thing work. I eventually figured out that it will lock onto the can automatically when i start turning the knob, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to release when it's done cutting. I fight with it EVERY time until it just finally pops the lid off.Love that the can edge isn't sharp when using this, but I didn't think things through very well when I bought it. I only need it for cans of tuna and when using this opener, I can't press the kid into the can to drain the liquid out. Now I have to dirty a strainer, as well.BUT, it cuts beautifully. Very easy on my hands and wrist.

What does Mad Max have to do with a can opener you ask? Besides dating myself slightly, if you have seen the movies you know a must have, every day carry item for the apocalypse, is a can opener. After all, how will you open up the only remaining food when the time arrives! Never mind that he was sharing his trusty companion's food.All kidding aside, everyone needs a can opener. I am old fashioned and always used the traditional hand crank can opener, until recently. My wife tends to temporarily misplace items. The can opener was no exception. For that reason, I always have a spare. Enter the search for a better can opener.I found this product here on Amazon and was encouraged. It proposed a quantum leap in the can opening experience. I decided to give it a try and cannot be more pleased. It is still a hand crank experience, but without the sharp edges. I speak from experience and know I am not alone when I say I am very careful when dealing with the lids on open cans. That is, until now!This opener is easy to use and works like a regular opener. The difference is that instead of a jagged metal lid and can edge, waiting to hurt you, the lid is easy to remove and there are no jagged edges. Rejoice! Your fear of being cut has been abolished.Yes, I cut a finger or two long ago and yes, I have opposing thumbs, so I learned not to cut myself again. I used to get a butter knife from the drawer to pry the jagged lids open. I no longer have to soil an extra utensil and the cans are safe for the family and for the trash bag. Don't you hate it when a can lid tears a hole in the garbage bag and leaves a trail of trash, just like those commercials.Buy one to use and a spare in case someone loses the first one. You may need them one of these days.
