I’m a size 18-20 and ordered an XXL. I typically order XXL and that was the size Amazon recommended during purchase.I wasn’t even close to closing the zipper and button. A solid three inch gap. If you are ordering this, plan to size at least two, possibly three sizes higher than what you normally order.

The shorts were okay, but the belt was missing. I am not the only customer missing the belt according to the reviews I read. Other than that, the shorts were good. The fit was as specified in the sizing guide. I ordered them in black to avoid a see through issue and they were good. Amazon will not send the belt. They wanted to send another pair (hopefully with the belt this time) and I would have to return the other pair. I don't want to be bothered with the return. Not good customer service.

I like the style of the pants, but I am glad I ordered up a size. I have junk in the trunk and could NOT see this fitting if I ordered my regular size ( XL ). It does have some stretch, but I'm disappointed because I wanted them to be "looser". They fit and serve their purpose, but wouldn't buy again.

Brought these to wine country at the end of the summer. Perfect shorts. Comfortable. Cute with any top. Lightweight. Breathable. Perfect length. The belt makes the look elevated. I ended up wearing them multiple times during the week. My new go to. Will be buying more.

These were the perfect shorts for travelling in Europe. They were comfortable, cool and dressy enough, but could be casual as well with a t shirt. True to size.
