Belkin makes a pretty decent low-end keyboard and mouse, though you still get what you pay for in some ways. The build quality is fine, and they work out of the box with no problems. Amusing to see included name brand (Duracell) batteries, I’m used to Chinese lettering on my included batteries. The mouse is fine, though not very heavy (I like a little weight to steady the mouse) and no frills—I’m quite fond of the “forward/back” buttons on my $20 wired mouse, miss it on the Belkin one. The keyboard is not “crisp” much less mechanical, but does the job. It does commit an unforgivable sin for me—the backspace key is not in the correct place, which kills my touch typing especially while programming. That was unnecessary (the enter key has no need to be so big), so I’m docking a star.

So far, I have been really happy with my time using this keyboard and mouse combo, almost all my work in on the computer, so I am using this combo for 8+ hours a day and have had no real issues. Out of the box, it works instantly. I just needed to throw in some batteries and plug the wireless dongle into my computer, and it was instantly up and running. The mouse and keyboard and both super simple, just the basic keys/buttons that you would expect from a keyboard. The mouse is nice; it's lightweight and has a bit of cushioning, which helps when constantly using the mouse since my hand can hold it in a natural position while also not requiring much force to move around. The left and right clicks don't feel mushy and give you a nice tactile click sound/feel, which I like since it gives me a bit of feedback of when I clicked. I have had no issues with lag between when I click the mouse and it responds on screen or issues with the wireless connection. I do wish the scroll wheel were a bit bigger, but other than,t I have been really happy with how well the mouse works. What I really like about this combo is the keyboard, mainly the actual keys themselves. Most of these combo keyboard/mouse sets try and mimic some of the higher-end keyboards with a sleek, thin design and along with shallow keys. However, while it looks nice, it usually just leads to a horrible experiance when using the keyboard because the keys are mushy when pressed, and I often think I pressed a key when I actually didn't. This keyboard doesn't have that and finds a nice balance between keeping a low profile while also having enough travel distance when pressing the keys, so that I can feel the moment when the key activates. There are also some other design choices like having a noticeable gap between keys to help prevent me from accidentally pressing the next key over and just having larger keycaps in general that really help the typing experiance, mainly in the way they help prevent typos. Just like with the mouse, I have had no connection or performance-related issues like keys not registering or delays when clicking a key. I do wish there were a bit more grip on the bottom of the keyboard; it tends to slide around a bit when using it. However, overall its a great keyboard that I have enjoyed using.

In my review of the Belkin Wireless Keyboard and Mouse with USB-A Receiver, I was pleasantly surprised by how effortlessly it integrated into my workspace. The simple plug-and-play connection truly lives up to its promise; within seconds of inserting the USB receiver into my laptop, both peripherals were ready for action—no tedious setup or downloads involved. The full-size wireless keyboard stands out with its low-profile keys that provide a satisfying tactile response, making typing emails and drafting reports feel almost effortless. Plus, the inclusion of multimedia shortcuts has streamlined my workflow significantly. Meanwhile, the ergonomic mouse is a game-changer; its contoured design fits comfortably in either hand, enabling me to switch from right to left without skipping a beat during those long editing sessions. With 2.4GHz wireless technology ensuring no lag whatsoever—even when I'm bouncing between multiple applications—the experience remains smooth whether I'm at home or working from a bustling café. And let's not forget about durability; this keyboard and mouse combo is spill-resistant, which gives me peace of mind as I sip on coffee while tackling spreadsheets. Overall, I've found this set to be an indispensable addition to my daily routine.

I was looking for a straightforward keyboard and mouse combo, and this fits the bill perfectly. The design is clean and minimal, and the build quality feels good for the price. It was incredibly easy to set up - truly plug-and-play! The mouse is simple, with a responsive scroll wheel for navigating up and down web pages and documents. One small note: the scroll wheel only supports vertical scrolling, so it won’t work that well for wide spreadsheets, but still a lot of value for this price.

This keyboard has more traditional, boxy keys, like the old word processors, for those of us who like the tactile feedback. My husband complained about the low profile keys on our most recent keyboard, so I thought I'd give this one a try. Belkin has always had reliable computer peripherals. The USB dongle comes stored in the battery compartment of the mouse and serves to connect both pieces to your PC. This is not mentioned in the paper pamphlet that comes with the set. The mouse is very sensitive, but I'm sure that can be adjusted in my PC settings. I'll continue to use my old mouse because it has back and forward buttons on the side and a smooth scrolling wheel. It's just a matter of personal preference. I really needed the spill resistant feature since I damaged my favorite keyboard by knocking my drink over onto the keyboard. Volume controls only work if you press the Function key at the same time. I've never had a keyboard that requires this before, but I'll adjust. Also, the pipe/backslash key is moved 1 row below where I'm used to it, so I keep hitting it when I mean to hit Enter. The set comes with Duracell batteries included, so everything was ready within 5 minutes of unboxing. They're plug and play.
