Got this so I could use an MP3 player with one speaker and one set of headphones rather than plugging and unplugging them. This fits both as expected and does indeed split the sound into both. HOWEVER, the sound quality disappeared. Or rather, I lost a large portion of the lower registers so that the sound is now treble-heavy. It's "okay," in that regard, but far from ideal and what I wanted. Still, overall, this works and would be fine for something like a portable DVD player or maybe even gaming, but for actual music listening, less than ideal.

I have now tried two sets of these (my original order and a replacement order) and they don't work! Half of the sound just doesn't come through my headphones unless I fiddle with the plug to get it to be able to make the connections JUST RIGHT. I have tried both sets of headphones directly into my device and they both work fine, until I try to use this hunk of junk.Seriously if you are looking for a headphone splitter pick something else...anything else. These don't work and are a total waste of money. Cannot be more upset and frustrated right now.

The golden connectors are a nice touch, makes for a good build quality. For those who don't realize it’s just a splitter for the same input, not to be used for headset and mic split. The side with the plug that goes into the computer is a little thick but overall should be compatible with most cases. Have not noticed a decrease in audio quality at all (as expected). I have this splitting between my headphones and speakers.

I stream music a lot on my desktop PC & have 2 sets of speakers. I got a new computer with Windows 11. Windows 11 plays audio through one device at a time. I did my homework & found you could change your sound settings using a feature called Stereo Mix. It worked & life was good until my computer crashed & I got the blue screen of death. Had to clean it off entirely & reinstall Windows 11. Afterwards I was trying to set the Stereo Mix again & it would not work, no matter what I did. So, I bought this splitter. Now I can listen to both sets of speakers again and they are both plugged into the splitter. Not sure why I couldn't get Windows 11 Stereo Mix feature to work, but this solved my problem & it wasn't expensive.

Family member wanted to have 2 pair of speakers on her PC instead of just 1 pair. This adapter was exactly what was needed and she is tickled it works. It fit into the green audio out port on the back of her PC, and both sets of speakers (including a pair of Bose) fit the adapter. All 4 speakers are playing music for her as I type. Fast shipping and well packaged, came new in the box. Would order again from this seller if needed.

Funciona muito bem. Quem comprar esteja ciente que vai haver perda de volume, mas por mim tudo bem pois a caixa de som e o headset que eu uso tem regulagem, é só aumentar um pouco.

Esta bueno, se siente de calidad y bastante duradero, lo uso para conectar dos audifonos al mismo tiempo y se escuchan bien, lo único malo seria que los dos audifonos tendran el mismo volumen y se puede escuchar algo alto o bajo para la otra persona pero eso ya no es cosa del cable

Had my front headphone jack on my gaming rigs case start to die on me so I got one of these and split the jack coming out of the back of my rig for go to my headphones and speaker. Works perfectly but obviously I can only use one at a time due to the split.
