My hubs sent me this fan last winter thinking it would be a good purchase for our boat, but then told me to hold tight. I dropped it in the cart as a reminder. Then Christmas happened. If a goat would have been delivered I wouldn’t have given it any thought. Fan arrived. I wrapped it and stuck it under the tree with my name on it. Figured it had a 50/50 chance of staying. Brought it out to the boat in May. You guys…THIS was the perfect purchase. We plug it in at night and run it on lowish while we sleep (we’re not ones to sleep with a fan, it is quiet) so it can also charge. Out on the water it can run nearly all day. The higher the setting the more battery it uses. It tells you the battery percentage. We typically keep it around medium and it lasts. Not only to help with airflow for the captain on the dash (portable and the 12” size is perfect) during travel, but it also helps to keep the bugs out while floating on Lake Michigan during the buggy times.

I initially rated this product 5 stars. It ran well the first time I used it. Charged well the second time, ran well. 3rd time recharging this fan?It's not charging. It will still run if I plug it in, but it's holding no charge. I purchased this fan for emergency use during a power outage so I'm disappointed.For rechargeable battery operated fans I'm now looking towards brands like Dewalt that can be found from retailers like Home Depot - I'm not going to spend $50-100 on Amazon for something that's going to be a piece of metal trash in a few weeks to months. This is the second rechargeable fan I purchased on Amazon that didn't recharge well after 2 uses.

I work in a warehouse in Florida with no AC. It has a rechargeable battery. I charge it up and it last all day in the warhouse on my cart while I am doing my inventory. It is very sturdy and tilts up and down. Great investment.

I've only used this one day so far, but it's doing well. I charged it over night and tried it out today. I'm using it for keeping the Flys and mosquitoes away while I'm gardening, it also helps with the heat!Construction seems good so far. My husband was impressed that it's mostly metal. It's light enough for me to easily move around the garden with.I ran it for close to 3hrs top speed and it dropped to 50% another 1 hour inside on top speed and it had 30% charge. I haven't tried running the battery out yet, but I would assume that at max speed it would last around 6hrs.I could probably have run it at a lower speed for my purposes, it puts off a decent amount of air, but it was hot today.I think at a lower speed the battery would last longer.Pretty good fan. I got it for less than $70 so I'm happy with it so far.I'll put in an update as it goes if necessary.
