I also love some good honey and in order to live a life where you can enjoy good honey in your backyard you need a good suit to keep yourself safe.Now I don't have my own setup yet but hopefully soon. I have used the suit to visit a couple other aparist locales and I haven't been stung.So suit does work and it keeps me safe. I haven't been in the game long so I don't know if this is top-tier quality but all I'm looking for is to avoid being stung.Until We Meet AgainOff the Grid Ken

I got this for my husband who is 5'11". He really likes the suit but I ordered a XL and he says the torso of the suit is too short. The XL has specs to 71". I should have gotten him the XXL. The suit itself is really nice. He likes the zipping head piece and finds the suit very easy to put on. The elastic around the arms and legs is a really nice feature and keeps the bees from getting into the suit. The gloves are very nice leather and are also very easy to put on. He has not been stung as of yet with this suit. I would definitely recommend this suit to beekeepers, just be sure to size up for total height!

While this suits says Extra Large, it fits a variety of sizes. It fit a tall 6 ft. man as well as a 5 ft. boy who is interested in beekeeping. It is fairly easy to use and works well for protection against the busy bees coming back and forth from the hives. I especially liked that there are elastic loops that are available at the ends of the wrists and pant legs that are to be looped on the feet and hands before putting on one's boots and gloves. This allows for them to be securely close to one's body, preventing any curious bees from venturing in the wrong places.I also really like how you can just unzip the front of the beekeeping hood so that you can drink and eat or whatever you need to do without taking off the whole outfit, which could have been a pain.Overall, it is reassuring that this suit is a layer of protection protecting my loved ones while they venture into this new project of beekeeping.

This suit is not 100% bee proof but it is a strong defense and breathable too. You’ll want to make sure the veil/neck area is completely sealed and extra tape on the flap can help if you’re really worried. I also like to tuck the pants into a pair of leather boots and lace them up tight. Usually this is enough to keep the bees out, but they can still sting somewhat through the suit. Where I get stung is usually on the wrists when I’m handling a very densely populated frame and accidentally crush them when bending at the wrist. I am a beekeeper with a bee sting allergy so I try to see where the vulnerable spots are and take extra precautions.

I ordered the Extra Large Beekeeping Suit for Men Women, Fully Body Bee Suit with Gloves & Veil Hood for Adult Beekeepers (XL)We are by no means professionals so cant truly attest to its quality as we aren't really sure what is considered a god quality bee suit is.We ordered this because we have a wasp nest in bushes by the house and we need them gone as they are dive bombing us.Normally we would spray the wasp nest with wasp spray then knock it down but we couldn't see the nest in the bush. Also It is a flowering bush and there are lots of pollinators that use it and we didn't want to spray anything really toxic there.This suit was really helpful to deal with angry wasps flying around. It wasn't a huge nest so he just needed something that could give him some protection. This did the job and he didn't get stung.I wasn't close so I could not say if there were any that tried to sting them or not. There was probably about 10 or so swarming around him.The suit is a really thick canvas like material. It was easy to get on tho pretty bulky to wear. It got hot inside quick so recommend using when its not really hot out.The gloves have a nice leather feel. and left some decent mobility. It is a 2 person job tho to get the suit on.There was one spot where the zipper s at the top of the chest that could be an open point if not sealed correctly so be mindful there.I also recommend wearing thick boots and thicker clothing too for added layers. Also taping the pant legs shut is recommended to make sure they cant crawl inside the pant legs.For size rdered xl but if you arent sure order a size up as this may run a little bit small and i feel a tighter suit is not as good.make sure to have some one check you good when done to see if any are in you still in folds or places you cant see.tip- as an alternative to toxic spray, a mix of tap water and a good amount of dish soap in a spray bottle will kill pretty much any bug within a few minuets on a direct hit, if its got enough soap mixed in, and its not toxic!overall great product were happy to have when we need it!

This is actually a pretty nice beekeeper suit, it is very well made, durable, reusable multiple times, and actually comfortable. The sizes are pretty dead on, so you should be able to get a decent fit. It works great, it is nice and thick, and nothing can sting through it. Plus they have included the hat, with that, and some very nice, very thick leather gloves. There's no way that bees are going to be able to sting through the gloves. Can be a little warm in the suit, but that is any suit. This is a great set up, especially for the price, highly recommended.

My father has bees and during Hurricane Helene one of the boxes blew over. This suit was exactly what I needed to help him get the box back on its pedestal. There is elastic at all of the potential entry points; ankles, wrists, neck and waist. The gloves are so nice I think I’m going to have to use them more than the suit. I wear a medium in ladies but I got the large here and I’m glad I did. I had a lot of freedom of movement and it gave me room to wear some thicker clothes just in case. The fabric looks to be very durable. Enough that I’ll at least be able to wear this quite a few times. Highly recommend! 5 stars
