My son got this for his birthday and the ring will not hold a charge. Do not buy this product. He was not even able to use it once!

Please get back to solid state ignition. I cannot count the number of service calls I have been on where an electronic igniter has failed ... usually within about a year of having been installed. Not a reliable technology. We will only install solid state ignition transformers ... because they are bullet proof. Do us all a favor and either make these more robust or scrap them. Thanks
