Glad that I have this on hand, tranmission pan gasket started leaking, so I pulled this out of the box. And this filter and gasket fits the Lexus RX 330, just a pain to remove and replace the back corner bolt, I actually have to unbolt the transmission mount to get more clearance for the 4 bolts that is closest to the transmission mount. This is a quality product from Beck/Arnley.

Filter came with O-Ring pre installed and the pan gasket was nice rubber that held the pan bolts while you put the pan back on. I recommend this for 2013 Toyota highlanders with the V6. I did have to loosen the transmission mount in the driver wheel well to jack up the transmission to get access to the pan bolts under the driver side frame. I used a ratcheting wrench (10mm) and that helped a lot. Make sure you drain the pan first in an empty bucket and when you remove the pan and filter catch the remaining fluid in the bucket. Measure the fluid that came out and put the exact amount of new ATF in through the transmission dip stick tube with a funnel after you replace the filter and pan/gasket. Start the vehicle after your done shift through all the gears and check transmission dip stick and top off the fluid while the engine is running.

My DIY installation of this filter kit went OK on my 2006 Toyota Sienna XLE. Getting all of the transmission oil pan screws removed was very labor intensive. I had to unbolt the left engine/transmission mount and rock it upward to access all the drain pan screws and then re-attach them with an inch pound torque wrench. I even had to use a 10 mm bolt extractor to get some of the screws off and then replace the bad screws. The van drives nice now. After the new ATF drain and fill and trans filter replacement, it no longer leaps forward from a stand still when I slightly touch the gas. It starts out smooth now. After reading many customer reviews on Amazon and Ebay, it looks like Beck Arnley Automatic Transmission Filters, for Toyotas, might be the best aftermarket trans-filter kit you can find short of buying a genuine Toyota trans-filter at the Toyota Dealership Parts Counter. Some customer reviews claimed it seemed to be perfectly identical to the genuine Toyota OEM part. I understand WIX transmission filters, for Toyotas, are very good as well.

I purchase this kit for a 2007 Toyota Avalon and I got to tell you that the quality looked and felt like the genuine and for a fraction $! I bought a genuine filter and gasket, you know to compare it to this one, hands down this one had nothing to envy to the genuine Toyota; the same day I returned the genuine one!I did my own drain, filter replacement, and fluid fill; these Avalons have a dip stick!!! A very easy process!I strongly recommend this automatic transmission filter and gasket kit to any Toyota Avalon owner.

Gasket and filter good quality aftermarket parts. Installed on Toyota Highlander 2005 V6 AWD. Original trans pan gasket is cork. This one is rubber and fits as expected. Overall this is very good kit at a fraction of dealers price. A couple of comments:1). 18 Trans pan bolts are 10mm. Most of them easy to get too but a couple of them are right above the frame cross member and recessed. Less than 3/4 inches of space to work. I got https://www.amazon.com/Platinum-Tools-8X10MM-RTCH-PLT-99658/dp/B00BI2C0XY/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1548358601&sr=1-1&keywords=Platinum+8X10MM+XXL+REV+FLX wrench which enabled me to get to the bolts. I also removed front driver side wheel to have more room. Alternatively you could unbolt trans mounts and raise the engine to get space to work but if you have to do that just replace transmission fluid and don't bother with the filter.2). Get trans drain plug crash washer at NAPA for $.70 or at a dealer. Prices vary.3). Apply Blue threadlocker (242) to 18 10mm bolts. I got Blue GEL threadlocker at HomeDepot. According to Toyota Highlander shop manual you need to use threadlocker on the bolts but you don't need to apply anything to the gasket.4) According to Toyota Highlander shop manual apply 69 INCH per pound to torque 10mm bolts and 36 FOOT per pound to torque trans drain plug.5). Fill fluid and watch for any leaks. According to owners manual it takes 3.7 quarts of transmission fluid. Mine took over 4.5 quarts. Not sure why.

Got this for my automatic 2004 Toyota Sienna with 220K miles. This is an excellent filter, as seen in the picture it comes with the transmission pan gasket. At the time I hadn't dropped the transmission pan in who knows how long. Previously had Aamco change the transmission fluid at 185K. They were supposed to drop the pan and replace the filter but didn't and only changed about 1/3 of the transmission fluid. I decided to take the 2004 Sienna to a local mechanic who replaced the fluid and filter. I purchased the crusher washer (also known as gasket at the Toyota Dealership. I purchased 1 Gallon of Redline D4 ATF also.(If your going to have the filter replaced at the same time as the transmission fluid I recommend you purchase 1 Gallon Redline D4 ATF + 1 Quarts of Redline D4 ATF) Took my van the the mechanic, who changed the ATF as well as the filter. The pan was very dirt because of metal particles that accumulate around the magnets at the bottom of the transmission pan. The mechanic cleaned the pan, replaced the filter and replaced the ATF. Now the van drives like a dream. There is a noticeable improvement in shifting, shifting is so so smooth. What you need:1 - This filter2 - Crusher Washer for Transmission pan screw from Toyota dealership3 - 1 Gallon D4 ATF + 1 Quart D4 ATF. = 4 - Local Mechanic
