The only thing wrong was it wasn't long enough for my husband. He is tall and when he sits on couch. It really only comes alittle past his chest.

I did like the idea of foot pockets, but the real thing doesn't have enough space for your feet!It could work when lying down, but there is no heating element in it, so kind of worthless. The worst part is that it doesn't heat-up in several areas, and the auto turn-off after 2 hours is simply...not good.I returned this thing, and purchased another one that doesn't have the (useless) foot pockets, but does have varying degrees of temperature as well as a variable time-off (multiple hours). WAY better!Do NOT recommend!

I gifted to my boyfriend who was going through Radiation treatments. He was cold, especially his feet. Liked the feet pockets. He really appreciated the warmth and coziness of it.... he felt like he was in a warm embrace Unfortunately, after about 2 months the unit stopped working. Had to get a replacement. It was an easy transaction. Had the new one within a couple days.... much to his delight.

When this electric blanket arrived and before I even opened it, I knew it was a return. It was stuffed into the plastic cover, not folded neatly, with the cord wrapped messily around it. It was covered in some kind of (hopefully) pet hair. The unit to turn the blanket on looked like someone had tried to pry the pieces apart. When I plugged it in it did not work. The lights all flash; it will not allow you to turn it on or off. The blanket does not warm up. I am very confused as to why someone at Amazon would shove it in a box and sent to out before confirming that it works. Unfortunately this in not the first time I have received a defective return. I will never use Amazon to send a gift because of this.

Bought this for my husband's cold feet as a gift! We already have two Beauty rest queen sized heated throws. Those became too heavy for my husband to toss off and on, this one is super lightweight. He keeps using this one though, and loves it! Easy to clean (in washer), super soft, doesn't hold lint/hair! The only "complaint" he has is that it turns off too quickly, and sometimes it doesn't come back on soon enough even after unplugging & waiting before turning it back on. (One of our other blankets has this problem, and the power switch gets a bit warm at times too. Idk if this is "normal", but one of our blankets does not do this!)

Bought it as a gift for my husband on the recommendation of Amazon customers. His last blanket went on the frits. He absolutely loves it and the safety features. The foot pockets are a huge bonus as he loves to keep his feet warm and cozy.Jan -21- 2022. I'm editing this comment, due to the product no longers works. Husband said blanket started to lose even heating, and then just stop altogether. Kept popping the GFI on the wall outlet.

I have two winter problems. At the end of the day, I often cannot generate enough heat to stay warm. I need an electric blanket. Along with that, my feet get exceptionally cold. The blanket warms quickly. The pockets are great! My feet are soon toasty without having to fight to keep the blanket wrapped around them. Very comfortable!I could use a few more inches of blanket (I'm 6'2") but it's not really necessary.I've only had it a month but so far, I highly recommend it.

WIth the exception of the cable length, mine arrived exactly as advertised. The dimensions length and width , it's definitely a throw, not a blanket. Of course, I'm referring to length and width but also, the microlight material. Without power, as with any throw, it's not quite as warm as an actual blanket. It's microsoft is doubled up and the wire runs in between, from side to side, in rows roughly 3" apart. The fabric and stranded wire are evenly laid out, preventing awkward bunching and creating even heat distribution, while powered. There are 3 heat settings however, I keep ending up on the highest. There are two more points emphasising the throw vs blanket description here. 1. The microlight fabric doesn't hold in heat as well as a blanket. The 2 hour auto-off. Under normal circumstances, I remember a 2 hour window of sitting around time to be a rare luxury. While were under quarantine, I find myself slowly coming to realize the cold, every couple of hours. The foot pockets are a nice idea. I wasn't expecting the heating element to run through it but, I was hoping it did. It does not. This wouldn't be a problem while sitting on the couch however, I have it on my lap as I'm writing this. Shins are toasty, calves, not so much. The fabric is doubled, on the backside of the, roughly, 18" deep pocket, like the throw itself. All and all, it's a nice feature, just as they are.Mine arrived with a Nema 1-15p moulded on a 6' whip of 16/2 zip hardwired in to the controller, as specified in the add. However, opposed to the listed 12' 6" control cable, mine came in at roughly 4'. It's 16/4 whip, hardwired in to the controller, with a 4 pin, polarized (possibly proprietary? The word, "Throw", is moulded on top), female plug that connects the blanket. This is hardly a deal breaker, for me. The connection point on the throw, is about 12" up the right side (from the users perspective) of a 62" length. I'd say a 36" of cable seems a better fit compared to 150" and, 48"-60" would have been ideal. It's probably a miss-type?The final detail emphasising the departure from the heated blanket category, the lengths of these cables has the users right foot limited to a tight 9' from the power source.. Assuming, most users will want to keep the controller within arms reach, further restricts the builtin reach. It's not obvious in the photos but, both cables exit the controller at the same point. Being separate cables, they are free to move in opposite directions however, allowing cables to dress and fall naturally, with a little leighway for movement, the usable length is actually much lower. When reading through the questions and answers, it's clear the sellers/manufacturer/reps are intentionally dancing around options to bridge a gap between the power and your couch. I would guess it would be easier to get them to pull one of their own teeth before going on record that power from an outlet can be extended with an xyz type product, under xyz circumstances. When it comes down to it, I like the throw,. It might actually deserve an additional star however, I wish had taken the descriptor, "throw" as literally as it's meant. If I had, I would have passed at this price. Instead, I would have gone with a second one of these; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008BF28Q0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008BF28Q0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.Also, reading through the questions, and the patronizing avoidance tactics, in the sellers/reps answers, are embarrassing. It suggests they are aware of the cable design inadequacy. They do not plan on taking a roll in the customer's need for a solution. They have made a conscious choice to conceal the design has a shortsighted flaw because it's easier to say, "120v wall outlet, only". If I let my cynicism get the better of me, the mistaken cable length in the products description starts looking kind of suspect.

I ordered this as I was having trouble with cold feet at night even while the rest of me was comfortable. I needed something that I could use mostly at night to keep the lower half of the bed warm as I fell asleep. This product is very soft, medium weight and heats evenly. I put it on top of the sheet to cover the lower third of my bed, folding it over once. The medium setting does the trick with a very noticeable warming for my feet. It turns off automatically after 2 hours - which can be good if you are just lounging to watch TV or only need it for going to sleep. It may be an issue for those who wish to have it on all night. The length of cord between the controller and the wall plug is a bit too short. My outlet is down near the bottom of the bed making it so the controller reaches only about half way up my bed - should be longer. Overall very nice product
