Didn't open box until ready to install at vacation camp and electric box is broken from unit. Terrible I cannot return because it's past 30 day return time. Guess I should have opened and inspected upon arrival. The box isn't damaged so I figured installer would open the box upon installation.

I was so happy to get this unit so quick. The first one I got I couldn't get to run. Returned it and in less than a week I had a replacement. I plugged it in where the other one was and it run. Thanks for the great replacement time. Unit is used on a handy cap lift so the great service was much appreciated. I don't think you can beat the price. Highly recommend.

BeamNova is everything one could expect in an overhead hoist. The gauge of material used is supportive of the type of use. The operation of the hoist is flawless. The KILL button on the Control box is a MUST. Why would anyone buy such an item without one? Great safety feature. BeamNova products have always been at the top of the consumer list. You will never be disappointed with any of their product line. Suggestion!When buying a hoist, go the extra mile in the Lifting weight posted. Your range of lifting power is greater and much safer.

This lift is now hanging in my shed and pulls me up to the second level like nothing. This may not be for industrial standards, but at my home, it is working like a champ. I hope it lasts, just installed a few weeks ago. Will update if something goes wrong. Recommendable lift, though, good value for the money.

Product seemed a little cheesy upon opening the package. But after installing it I'm very pleased that works very well and it can take the weight. I thought it was well worth the money and sure makes life easier.

The electrical box was smashed open. Making the safety stop switch- inoperable.This really is a 4 star product! I believe it was rough handling that broke the cheap electrical box.It has a strong cable and a powerful motor with a cooling fan.I added longer screws and was able to get it back together..8/7/18 Tested it today. I have an 1987 GMC 8' bed. With the single cable Lifting the back end of the truck, it would stop automatically after a slight raise. It must have a limiter to protect the motor from damage. When i doubled the cable It lifted the truck off the ground with ease. (1720#) I believe it will do what I bought for.
