Extremely thin, not durable, already has tears after first use. If using it delicately to keep dry on a wet spot, it’ll work. It’s lightweight and compact, but not built to last.

I'm pretty impressed for the low price of this blanket. Quality is high, with it being made from a fairly heavyweight ripstop nylon. It's also very large, and I like the gray accent stripe that also appears on the bag.Being nylon, it's very waterproof and sand generally doesn't stick. It also dries quickly, aside from the straps in each corner. Those are the only weakness, feeling more like grosgrain ribbon. I wouldn't trust them in very high winds, but I appreciate they're at least there and are stitched in well. Four plastic stakes are provided for them.Packing it away into the pouch is easy. It comes folded in a very convoluted way, but I found folding it down then rolling the rest of the way to be easier.I found no quality issues; the stitching is all perfect and there are no flaws in the fabric. There were no washing instructions, but other blankets I've had like this state to machine wash cold water on the gentle cycle, then hang dry. I've found that generally works well.Overall, a very nice and lightweight picnic blanket. I can't wait to use it while biking to outdoor concerts and other such events, but could also see it being useful while backpacking. Definitely recommend, for the price.

Back in the day, we had rip stop material.. This super big beach/ picnic sheet reminded me of that. It comes in a nice little pouch, with four stakes.. Each corner has a loop for the stakes. What a great feature if you are trying to set this up on a beach with a breeze. The size is great too.. 79" x 55".. it is perfect for two people to stretch out and sun bathe, or four adults to sit and picnic. I also like the dual colors.. The blue is loud, and the grey section makes this easy to spot on the beach, if you go for a walk. And, this folded back up to the original size and fit back into the pouch very easily, without stuffing it.. I would probably use this with a towel or two.. The seller says this is sun proof and water proof. If you are a hiker, you could also use it for an overheat tarp, with some lines. It would make a great tablecloth, there are so many uses for this. And, it is a bargain at the price, and I am just thrilled.

This beach blanket, like many others, is kind of a wind-breaker material, which means it's water resistant and very light weight. I love that the stakes actually fit in the bag AND that they match the color of the blanket! It's a good size for two people, maybe more if you don't intend to lie down or are very close together (I like my space!), and the color is vibrant. That said, it is less of a mustard yellow (what it looks like on my monitor) and more of a canary yellow, not that it bothers me. (If you look at the stakes in the photo on the listing, it's closer to that color than to the color of the 'lemon' yellow blanket they show.) For $9 at the time of this review, it's a good deal.

This beach blanket is amazing! It’s large enough to comfortably fit my family and still compact enough to pack easily. The sandproof and waterproof design makes it ideal for the beach, camping, or picnics. It’s lightweight, durable, and easy to clean, plus the storage bag makes carrying it super convenient. Definitely a must-have for outdoor adventures!

Love the bright color and the size. It is perfect for the smaller grand kids to sit on to dry off. The sand wipes right off and it is quick to dry. If folds into a small bag and doesn't take up a lot of room. It is easy to lay out and comes with small stakes to keep it from blowing away. It's a great price and you can use it for picnics or other uses besides the beach.

Think of this as more of a tarp than a blanket. For my purposes, this is a great product at a great value. We're not fans of the beach, but this would definitely give you a good sand barrier although I'm not sure how well the small plastic stakes will hold in the sand. The corner loops don't seem to be reinforced and may be a weak spot over time, but for normal use, I think they'll do fine. This ground cover does come in a nice compact package for easy storage and transport although the storage bag is EXACTLY the right size, so be careful when folding this up or you're going to fight to get it back in the bag.I'm actually using this as an emergency/overnight shelter/tarp as a lean-to or hammock cover for rain. The compact size is perfect for that application with the stakes as an added bonus. The ripstop type material will boost the durability.I like it.

When I first opened this I thought it was a rip-off. It's a 6.5' x 6.75' lightweight nylon tarp. For some reason I thought it was a microfiber blanket. So that is my fault. After I thought about it for a bit this might be a blessing in disguise. It will be great as a tarp to put on the ground first, then put your blanket on top so it stays clean. It can be used as a footprint under a tent or as a canopy over the tent opening. You can use it as a sunshade with a couple of trekking poles and a little rope. Lots of good uses for a lightweight tarp. The included stakes are nearly worthless but I always use long aluminum ones for tarps so it doesn't matter. It weights less than 1/2 lb and folds up very compact so you can take it almost anywhere.
