I recently used the B&C Eagle ACR-1 Round Head Coil Roofing Nails for a roofing project, and they exceeded my expectations. The nails are electrogalvanized, providing great resistance to rust, which is crucial for outdoor use.One thing I really appreciated was the smooth shank, which made driving the nails into the roofing material much easier. They held the shingles securely, and there was no sign of any slipping or loosening, even in windy conditions.Using these nails with my coil nailer was a breeze. They fed smoothly and didn’t jam once, which saved me a lot of time and frustration. The round heads also provided a nice, clean finish, which added to the overall professional look of the roof. However, I did notice that if you’re not careful with the pressure settings on your nailer, you might end up over-driving the nails, especially in softer materials. A little adjustment and testing beforehand can prevent this issue. For anyone tackling a roofing project, these nails are a reliable choice. They combine durability, ease of use, and a great finish, making them a valuable addition to any DIY toolkit.

I bought the cheapest nail gun I could find to put shingles on my shed roof. These nails worked well for the job.

I bought these for the shingles on a shed project. They were installed using an air gun. You may have to adjust the air pressure as necessary. A few months later and there has been no issues at all. I could not find this size nail at the local stores, thanks Amazon.

The B&C Eagle ACR-1 Round Head 1-Inch x .120 Smooth Shank Electrogalvanized Coil Roofing Nails performed well as siding nails. The pneumatic nailer didn’t jam at all while using. The big box stores supplied these nails, but at a quantity of 7200, which was a great deal more than needed.

One box of 1" nails does about 2.5 - 3 square @ 6 nails per shingle. These are suitable for mobile home or other 15/32" roof deck. Most roof deck, 5/8" or thicker (24" rafter spacing), require at least 1.25" length nails.(From personal experience, 1" work just fine in a 3/4" OSB roof deck. My 22 year old 20-year 3-tab shingles have gone through at least a dozen hurricanes, and only now had a few tabs go missing. Not one complete shingle had any indication of lifting. I didn't want the nails to penetrate since there is a low clearance storage loft underneath that roof. An inspector, gov't or otherwise, will want to see penetration from each nail.)It is very frustrating that the longer nail sizes are not available for next day or 2nd day delivery in this package size... Only need a small amount of longer nails for ridge vent/cap.These worked well in cheap Wen 61782 coil nailer. If you are doing 5 square or more, there are better priced options. An extra box turned out to be a nice barter item. These are easily worth a sheet of plywood if the other guy can use 'em.

Only needed a small quantity of 1 inch nails. Used 8 of the 9 coils and did not have one jam or miss fire. Maybe the guys that are complaining need to clean their guns, make some adjustments, or just don't know what they are doing. I would definitely buy these again.

Not a terrible bad purchase when this is the only location that provides this size, so you have to accept what you get.
