I like this BBQ for a few reasons there are more options with this set up. Very inexpensive compared to others. I can cook fast or slow, clean up is very minimal. I say get one!!!

Half the price, great value and just as good as the Camp Chef grill box!

Fits better than the original camp chef 14" accessory. Less gap between the boxes and the Explorer frame on the sides. Seems we'll built. Temp guage is probably more accurate, definitely easier to read.

The first one arrived damaged by the shipping company. They were quick to send me a replacement and the second one arrived perfect. Can't wait to use it this weekend. Very good quality compared to the camp chef grill I had

I didn't realize camp chef had more than one size. Had to return, but it's a quality product

This does not fit a camp chef stove properly. If the wind guard is used, the grill top will not open all of the way.

I am one of the original "most helpful" reviews on the original Campchef 14" duel burner grill box.I have gone through -3- of the original $129.99 (now $250) Campchef 14 inch grill boxes since 2011. This matched the original grill price of $129.99 and will fit every single 14 inch Campchef stove top (Yukon, Explorer etc.); I am pleased to see someone compete with them because their customer service has been god awful.. more on that later. This unit came with some minor damage to the corners and lid, and the seller worked with me to issue a 1/2 refund rather than go through the hassle of returning it. I used some high heat paint to patch the corners up and pulled the dent off the lid. No biggie. The grates pictured have the same design, and unlike Campchef they provided a scraper that actually cleans the grate out well. Under the grates pictured is the same exact V shaped diffuser design at the original box, the rear-vents in are nearly identical, and other than the minor variance of the grill handle and temp gauge you'd be very hard pressed to tell the difference.Similarly to Campchef, the gauge is very inaccurate so probes & a learning curve are in order to get your heat-zone footing. I used ceramic bricks afterwards which immensely helped evenly distributing the heat-- but if you intend on using this out the box with the gauge reading 550-ish, it had zones ranging from 607-720. After using the bricks and a lower heat I was reading 585-637 off the 550 cover gauge.::To Campchef and their users::Campchef: Improve your product design and stop making critical parts out of thin untreated & painted low-grade metal (grill box diffuser here, or your aluminum burners pumping out 30k BTU heat which can melt depending on the attachments used). You make "stainless" boxes on the top lid only, and neglect the bottom to rot from rust through terrible alloys or planned obsolescence... you made stainless steel explorer stoves and pulled them (I presume because it won't rust away like the Yukon and classic Explorer)-- some of us would happily pay for quality metal, but you refuse to produce it and shaft us in the long run on all your other products which rust away every 3-4 years.Yes, this is made in China; so is Campchefs grill box. Yes, this company may have swiped this design, even the exact specs of the material-- but you know what they didn't do? Jack the price of the box up from $129.99 (2021 and earlier) to $250 on their website-- or $200 on their Amazon store. When I approached Campchef on their product problems of it rusting out every 3-4 years with a documented proof of warranty registration over a decade-- I got told to pound sand and was offered a 15% discount only off only their website $250 price, and they refused to match their Amazon store price of $200 and claimed they don't control it along with having no affiliation with their own Amazon store (doubt.jpg). This companies response to the damage? 1/2 the purchase price back... take note Campchef-- that's called "Customer Service"Will this stand the test of time? I highly doubt it. If you live on a coastal line-- you can likely expect this to last 3-4 years. I leave my boxes well covered at all times under canvas and they all have disintegrated away in the same fashion: that being the main diffuser bottom between the grill box and the burner. Before anyone assumes-- yes, I only use the burners on low-to-medium just like Campchef suggests, and I treated and cleaned my box every season... the issue is the material is so thin it doesn't matter or help, and Campchef doesn't care because it drums up constant repeat sales. Again Campchef, I'd pay $500 for a portable grill box if you actually made it out of quality materials that didn't rust away like your stainless EX60SS that you no longer sell.

Love it except the lid will not stay open on its own. I have to use something to precariously prop it open or hold it open. 5 stars of not for that.
