This box is just the right size for most BBQ grills. It has a cover so most of the ash doesn't fall on the food. Easy and clean way to get smoke flavor to your gas grilled foods.

This smoker box works great for smoking food on your regular gas or charcoal grill. Just put your desired wood chips in the box and put the box on a burner with heat. I use a food torch to get the wood chips going then close the lid on the box and close the grill. When you see smoke, it's time to put the food on the grill and close the grill lid so the smoking process can begin. There was only one issue that I saw with this box and I deducted only one star for it because while it is kind of a big issue for me, the price is so much less than normal smoker boxes, I had to consider that in my review. A regular smoker box at a retailer costs around 30 dollars. As of this review, this box is less than 12 dollars. The flaw it has is that the lid is not easy to open. which is easy enough to deal with but if you need to refill your box with more chips (which happens if you need more than 30-40 minutes of smoke) the very hot lid is nearly impossible to open. Most of these boxes have a little tab you can grab onto with tongs or something to open the lid but not this one. I would say best to use this for foods that can be smoked in go, because you don't want to have to try to open this lid again when it's hot. Other than that it is great and did a great job smoking my brie on a gas grill!
