The cooking set includes the single-burner gas stove itself, a 10-quart aluminum deep-fry pan, an aluminum perforated insert basket with handle, and a five-inch stainless-steel thermometer that helps maintain a safe cooking temperature for the oil. Some assembly is required for the stove, such as attaching the legs to the round frame. Designed for the utmost in safety, the stove features three legs that hold up to a 34-quart pot with no stress on the bolts. The cooking surface measures 12-3/4 inches in diameter, and a slight ridge keeps the pot from sliding off. From the ground to the top of the round frame, the cooker stands 19-1/2 inches tall. While a lid is not included with the 12-1/2-by-5-inch pot, the basket does come with a long steel handle (simple attaching required) that safely lowers and lifts the cooked food in or out of the hot oil. The thermometer features a pot clip and 1-3/4-inch dial that allows the cook to keep an eye on the temperature of the oil. A red zone is clearly marked for danger should the oil exceed 450 degrees F, at which point the heat source should be turned off immediately. Both Celsius and Fahrenheit are shown. Intended only for outdoor use, the cooker includes a UL-listed 10 PSI regulator, 29-inch hose, and a valve assembly. The pot also can be used indoors on a stovetop. Muy buen producto, sin embargo laanguera de gas no es compatible con los tanques de gas mexicanos, y eso hace que ni el fogón funcione, se tendría que comprar uno...pero el materia es bueno y la olla freidora es buena.

It’s perfect for the price! It gets the done done & well! It’s sturdy and the pot and strainer are good quality! You will not be disappointed with this! It’s strong enough to support the weight of a turkey if you use a bigger pot! This is so versatile! I might buy another as a gift!!!!

It was somewhat difficult to assemble. But, once together it is great! Very well made and very sturdy! The basket is much larger than I expected, a definite plus! It cleans up super with detergent and hot water! The mesh basket plus the basket it sits inside of cleans great as they both fit in a double sink. In fact the basket, when placed in a double sink fits just right! Extremely pleased with how easy to clean. As I said, the basket and the mesh basket are extra large and can fry several pieces of fish easily! Very pleased with it!

We were looking for an inexpensive outdoor gas fryer to use here and there. This exceeded expectations by far. Very well designed. Very little heat is wasted, most of it is going straight to the pan. It doesn't appear to use that much gas. The pan/basket isn't too big and I didn't think it would hold that much food but it does and at the same time is designed where you don't have to use that much oil. Very easy to empty the cooked food w/ the basket and they even threw in a thermometer that clips (and stays) on the basket. My only suggestion would be the gas level control be labeled similar to the burners on a stove (ie: 1-10) or (low, med, high and in between) so you can easily ID your sweet spot....you just have to go off the size/sound of the flame and the thermometer which you learn how to do pretty quickly...not a big deal still phenomenal item.

Great product. It’s robust, and easy to build and take apart while traveling or storing. It does exactly what it’s supposed to, and we’ve fried some great fish, fries and onion rings with it. It’s been on a bunch of family vacations, tailgates, and back porch cooking days, and it’s never let us down. It’ll burn like the sun. I like the handy little thermometer too. I actually use it on my smoker sometimes, bc it’s real easy to clip on anywhere, and it’s pretty accurate. My wife is Cajun from Louisiana, she approves and so does my father in law. That’s good enough for me.

I love this cooker! We originally bought this to fry fish occasionally and it works great for that but I use it at least once a week to cook food that needs high heat like when using a (cheap) wok or searing steak in a large frying pan. The flame is great and puts out more heat that the 4 burners on our stove combined. The aluminum pot works well and is easy to clean even after frying (lots and lots of) whiting for close to 2 hours. Thermometer is good too. This was the best 50 bucks I spent this summer!

I did some deep frying this weekend camping and this think was awesome. Fried up our fish and fries great. Really easy cleanup with the pan. It kept the temp well and was very sturdy. We had kids and I was very worried about it getting knocked over or bumped but it is setup well. I got an adapter so I could use the small camping propane tanks. It packs up pretty well but isn't exactly small. Paint is holding up on the stand but burnt by where the burner is which is to be expected since it gets super hot. I was thinking about less expensive outdoor deep fryers but glad I got this one since it is so well built. Just a great product.

I am very please with this cooker after my install and first use. I bought this primarily for making Buffalo-style chicken wings as my experience with cooking indoors, both on a pot on the stove and on my grill side-burner and with a small dedicated fryer have not been so great. The wings have been good, but the mess and cleanup plus the time required led me to look into this.Assembly went quickly and without issue. Unlike some others have posted in their reviews, I had all my parts and everything fit together well. The only issues I noted are:(1) controlling the flame intensity has been a challenge. I probably need to practice this more. It's very easy to shut the flame off completely by suddenly turning down the red knob that attaches to your tank. (not the tank valve, but a valve that comes with the cooker)(2) This may be something I did wrong, but after my first cook I ended up burning off the paint on the burner grid. There was a lot of white ash and the black paint was burned off completely revealing the bare metal below.I made about 40 wings in batches of ten. Since I cooked the wings sous-vide first, I only needed about 4 minutes per batch to crisp them up nicely. I'm already looking forward to next years tailgating where I can whip up lots of wings for the hungry masses!

I made the mistake of inserting a how-much-propane-is-left meter between my propane tank and this cooker. As a result, I spent about an hour trying to figure out why I wasn't getting serious flame. After I removed the meter and connected this directly to my tank, I got serious blue flame, and was cooking like a pro. Good fun. I wish the hose was a bit longer in order to get the propane tank really far away, but it was long enough for me to feel it was safe to proceed.Don't let worries about getting fat keep you from buying this if you plan to use it rarely. The clean up time spent filtering and saving used oil should be enough to discourage you from using it too much, and if you leave the oil in the pan, you're encouraging daily use, which probably will cause you to gain serious pounds.
