The SOXPOP Replacement Battery for Sonos Roam is a solid choice for bringing new life to a tired Bluetooth speaker. I installed it in my Sonos Roam, and the improvement in battery performance was immediately noticeable. The 6000mAh capacity holds a charge well, delivering hours of uninterrupted music playback, just like when the speaker was new.Installation was fairly straightforward, though it does require some patience and care if you're not familiar with opening electronic devices. The battery fits perfectly, and the connections were secure, which gave me confidence in its build quality.I also appreciate that it’s a lithium-ion battery, ensuring a longer lifespan and reliable power output. After several charge cycles, it still holds up without any noticeable drop in performance. If there’s one minor downside, it’s that it doesn’t come with tools for installation, so you’ll need your own small toolkit. And here’s a lighthearted joke: Why did the battery get promoted? Because it always stayed positive!Overall, the SOXPOP Replacement Battery for Sonos Roam is a dependable and affordable option for extending the life of your speaker. It delivers solid performance, good capacity, and reliable power, making it a worthwhile replacement investment.

Used this battery in a custom LED light project. Its nice that it can be charged like a single 18650 battery despite being 2. Theres built in over-current protection that auto resets which is really nice for a custom project. It seems to be set at around 2A.

Roam finally died after a few years (mostly plugged in). It would light up the front charge indicator but not actually charge or boot. Bit of a teardown to get to the battery but not bad if you've taken out small ribbon cables before. Look for instructions on YouTube.Immediately after plugging the new battery in LEDs lit up and showed signs of life. After re-connecting the mainboard the full speaker booted and got back online. Now it charges and works great!
