I received this battery pack well packed inside a card stock box within a Amazon brown paper envelope. The item was not damaged. Upon opening, I found a very well-constructed, perfectly flat, battery consisting of six AA Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable cells in series. Rated at 7.2 Volts Direct Current, the battery voltage measured 7.61 VDC right out of the box without any charging, thereby verifying some good, hot cells.Of particular note is the milliampere/hour rating for this battery. While most NiMH cells kick out anywhere between 700 and 2,200 mAH, these cells are rated to deliver 3,700 mAH or 3.7 Amperes at the hourly rate. That's one very strong set of cells and the heft of the pack further confirms that these are packed to the gills. It feels solid and hefty; this is a very potent battery pack.The cells are lime green and the shrink tubing binding them together matches the color. A very complete label is affixed to the shrink tubing. Two six-inch wires, one red and one black, terminate in a very small electrical connector for powering the Wireless Control Panel for the ADT Impassa Wireless Alarm System. As this is a security system, it's easy to understand why such a powerful battery pack is needed.For now, I award a full five stars .. to be amended if the pack stumbles or loses potency early on. Thus far, I'm optimistic.
