It makes making cupcakes so much easier as well as pancakes. Just make sure your batter is good because if it’s lumpy, it can get stuck.

This batter separator is super easy to use and clean! The squeeze design makes portioning simple, and the top locks securely to prevent leaks, thanks to the little built-in locking notches. It works best with thinner batters, as thicker ones may pour more slowly. If you're adding berries or other mix-ins, be sure to chop them small to avoid clogging the spout. I found that a rubber spatula helps scrape out every last bit of batter for cooking when you get to the bottom.One thing to keep in mind is that some batter may drip from the spout after opening and closing, especially if there’s any leftover batter inside. A handy bonus—the top can also double as a base to catch any drips after pouring if you prefer not to use it as a lid.Cleanup is a breeze—just rinse, wash, and dry! If you have kids, this could be a fun way to get them involved in the kitchen and show them how a gadget like this works! This is a second purchase for this item. Our group sponsors a pancake breakfast at least 4 times a year. This makes consistent size pancakes every time and doesn't drip or spill batter. Great product for its price.

I love this batter separator because I think it’s easier to use than continuously refilling a measuring cup. This works great for waffles and muffins, and the measurements on the side take the guest work out of making sure the batter is evenly distributed. The cup itself is easy to clean and hold about 4 cups of batter, which is more than I use normally. This would be a great gift for the baker or chef in your life.

I used this once and it broke. And of course I’m past the date to return it. Also the cover at the bottom where the pancake batter comes out of never closed completely so it would leak pancake mix. Hopefully someone reads this and returns my money.

I used this once or teivd a week to make waffles or pancakes for the kids. It works good but looks and feels flimsy. It broke 4 months later.
