Grab bar was used for installation for entry into hot tub sunken in floor of sunroom. Mounted clap to bock secured to the floor. Fits great for our needs and looks very nice

Didn’t clamp onto freestanding tub.

I liked the curve and design of the grip part of device, but the clamp is something that needs more development. Placing on tub and clamping into place is very simple but clamp retaining clip is made of plastic and slips. When you tighten the adjustment and clamp into place, it will stay clamped but grip comes loose quickly.If you tighten clamp very securely so grip handle is safe, the clamp retainer clip slips loose and the entire clamp comes loose.This thing should have included a metal retainer clip to mitigate slippage and therefore maintain a steadfast and strong grip handle. Needs work but is ok.You get what you pay for, I guess.

Very sturdy. still slips a little at first but you just have to tighten it. I love that is is plastic. perfect height. I had this one for years but I wanted a new one for my new house. Great product

They were advertised as stainless however, they are white enamel. They seem to be working as intended but if the enamel cracks or chips, it can start to rust. Since it’s used around water (the tub) it may begin to rust. That was the whole point if ordering stainless.

I am getting old now and I find that I need more safety around the house. This was very easy to put on the tub and has made it safer to get in and out
