Easy to install. I don't get where people in the reviews say it's load. It's pretty quiet.l do like it.

This bathroom vent kit is about as simple as it gets. The only items in the box are the ceiling vent itself, a pack of screws, and instructions. The instructions consist of a single bifold sheet and take you step-by-step from placement and cutting the hole, to ducting and mounting. I deliberately did not mention wiring because the instructions are extremely vague about the wire colors. I did not find anything in the instructions that mentioned the wire coloring coming out of the vent motor. For this, I had to consult the listing, which actually had a helpful schematic diagram (The schematic in the instructions didn’t list colors) that outlined the colors as follows: Blue is neutral, brown is live, and the yellow/green is ground.Once the wires and ducting are connected, the unit can then be inserted into the ceiling. The kit includes anchors and screws, but I personally would not trust them. One screw goes into each of the four corners of the housing to hold it to the ceiling so I would recommend one of two options. One, put a couple pieces of wood in the ceiling to drive the screws into. Or two, which is my preferred method, use toggle anchors to screw bolts into with washers. I really like using toggle anchors for mounting things into drywall ceilings, they just hold.Once the housing is in place, the grill can be attached using the clever butterfly springs on either side. These springs/wires are squeezed together and inserted into the slots on the housing where they are released and naturally draw the grill into place against the ceiling.I was fairly impressed at the strength of the fan blower in the unit. It feels like it is moving a lot of air when it is on and has an inline flap to help prevent backflow. All things considered, this is a great little unit.

This is a great fan that is simple to install and use. It does not have any gaudy branding on it which I like. The design is streamlined and simple.
