These fence staples are great for wire mesh and wood fences. They go into wood easily with a hammer and are strong once they are hammered in. They won't break or come out easily.

I noticed a reviewer said that these are smaller than the other ones he has. I measured them and they are the one inch that they are advertised as. My only reason for taking off one star is that they are not all as sharp as I would like. A number of them have one sharp point but the other is not great. I will be pounding them into dug fir so it should not be a problem. I think they are a decent product for the price.
