These scissors work just fine for all my kitchen needs. They're sharp, sturdy, and thick. I keep them with my knives for all my kitchen needs and they have yet to disappoint. The design is cute as well - I love a little personality in my home and this is just what I need.

These are great quality kitchen scissors. We use them to cut chicken and they do a great job. The handles are comfortable for a variety of hand sizes. The steel is strong and overall a quality product.

The handles shaped like a bat are such a fun and unique touch. They stand out from the usual boring designs and add a bit of personality to my desk. I also know exactly who "borrowed" my scissors! They’re surprisingly ergonomic and comfortable to hold. The blades are sharp and cut through paper, fabric, and even cardboard with ease.

Surprisingly, these scissors still cut whether I used my left OR right hand! Most scissors only cut when you're using a dominant right hand. The slots in the handles easily accommodated my fingers, and the blades are strong enough to cut through chicken OR a 5mm tree branch/twig.

These have become my kitchen utility scissors. I don't use them to cut chicken or anything, more for general use. The blades of the scissors arrive sharp and they have a pretty smooth operation when used. They came in very handy during gift wrapping this year. I would say they more resemble a bat more than a cat, but that's not why I got them anyway. If you're looking for a decent pair of kitchen scissors, these are pretty good.

I like these scissors and recommend them as good kitchen scissors. They have a lot of features. I was surprised to see that they have a bottle opener -- handy! There is also one blade that is serrated and one blade that is straight. Both feel very sharp to me, although I don't really have a way to test sharpness nor hardness on the blades. The handles are large and fit my hands nicely. There is also a lid "grip" in the center between the handles which will allow one to gain some leverage on lids that just won't unscrew. The grips are limited in size, but that is to be expected. These scissors are fun, but functional. 5 stars!

This is a sturdy pair of scissors, useful to have in the kitchen. The bat's body is in the center and comes together when the scissors is closed. I don't know if it has a function. The bat is above the serrated cutout that looks like it can be used to crack walnuts or help loosen tight fitting lids on jars and bottles. It opens pretty wide. There's a hook on one of the blades that can open beer (and similar) bottles. The blades are thick and sharp with a serrated edge on one side.I have a small hand and the handles are comfortable for me to use. The inner edges of the silicone handles are a little softer than the outside.I needed a pair of utility scissors and these fit the bill.
