It makes for a good outline but if you want crisp lines, be prepared to go back and tape off and repaint.

The lane and key stencil was great and was used with great success. When we went to do the 3 pt line, the stencil was just in a straight line and not curved. It was impossible to use. Very disappointed

Instructions and labels on template made it a piece of cake to assemble. Highly recommend using spray paint as in instructions. We tried using traffic paint with a small paint roller and ended up with some slight paint bleeding under template. Our grand children didn’t mind and are enjoying the new painted court.

My son really liked the way it came out. It was easy to put together/layout as all the pieces were numbered. There was also a diagram showing where the section belonged to. If I would have taped it down better there would have been less over spray. However, it is not that noticeable. My only complaint is the alignment strings. They are thin strings with a nut attached to the bottom and in wind conditions they move around a lot. I Added a bolt to increase the weight Just to keep tension on the line.Overall, this is a product I would recommend. Easy to use with straight forward instructions. While I did not add the 3-point line. I may due so at a later date.

This kit works perfectly! Only one confusing spot at the top of the arc, but eventually figured it out

This stencil made the spraying process quick and easy. Using cardboard and spray paint you can’t expect perfection but it was much easier using the stencil rather than taping and masking manually. I’m an engineer so we worked for several hours to measure and position the stencil to ensure accuracy. We used a plumb bob to identify the center of the rim and 3 points on the floor that lined up with the front of the backboard. We also used a cross line laser level to ensure the lanes and baseline were straight and measured all dimensions multiple times. The directions for the stencil could be improved. They do not provide any measurements for the court lines the stencil was designed for or what the regulations are for the court size ordered. This required us to constantly reference diagrams we found on websites unrelated to the product. We couldn’t find a diagram that clearly labeled if the measurement callouts were center of the marking lines, internal edges, or outer edges so we used our best judgement. The 3 point line needs to be positioned last and I started at one baseline and worked my way around measuring, positioning precisely, and taping both side of the cardboard for each section until I made it all the way around. The overspray guard that comes with the kit is cardboard and isn’t thick enough to easily position and use. We ended up making our own guard from a thick cardboard box and also used flat cardboard on the sides of the stencil for extra protection. We sprayed 2 coats allowing it to dry between coats. After removing the stencil there were a few places we taped off manually and sprayed. We may have been able to avoid doing that if we did the key and top of the key let it dry and then removed the stencil before placing the 3 point line stencil and spraying it. Overall I’m very glad I purchased the stencil before tackling this project. My son loves it and uses the court several hours per week.

Should have known better, some cheap china product. Didn’t stay together, was bent and wouldn’t lay flat when received. Didn’t spray paint it, just returned and went with an American Made product. Much better results!

Worked really well for us, we had to shorten the 3pt shot line because we changed our mind about the direction we were the new hoop and we didn’t have the length but it was easy to do that. Looks great, and we hand painted/rolled it. Had to then go over it to fix the edges but that’s because we didn’t spray paint it as we wanted a specific color. I can recommend it, the only thing I would improve is adding heavier nuts to the strings so your initial line is easier to mark otherwise the string just flies everywhere. Easy enough to do.
