Ho utilizzato l'adattatore per inserire un TF da 512Gb nel mio MacBook Pro M4 (2024). Si inserisce senza forzature e si introduce nell'alloggiamento senza difficoltà. La lettura della memoria esterna è velocissima. All'esterno risulta " a scomparsa" si integra perfettamente nelle geometrie del laptop senza lasciare bordi esterni. Facilmente rimovibile tirando all'esterno con l'unghia l'adattatore. Acquistabile nelle due colorazioni tipiche: argento (come la mia in foto) o Grigio siderale. Ottima soluzione per aggiungere memoria al mio MacBookPro es evitare di utilizzare hdd esterni... Consigliatissimo!

Item is NOT as described. This is labeled and sold as an accessory for Apple computer and several colors are sold to match according to computers color. Be warned this “Space Black” almost looks like it’s light grey or silver when inserted into your computer. Not even close to MacBook’s Space Black.

Es funktioniert mit dem Fingernagel ganz einfach und problemlos - ohne, dass der Adapter kaputt geht.😉

Get this with a terabyte mini SD, stick it in your ass D slot and Wala you have an extra terabyte of storage. I never take it out I just leave it in my computer. As with this aluminum adapter it stays completely flush with the computer so there's no reason to take it out. Extra terabyte of storage on my M1 which gives it 3 TB total. If you're going to use a mini SD get a mini and get this adapter trust me

Completely stealthy way to add external storage to your MBP. This fits completely into the SD slot and you cannot tell its there, completely invisible. No more usb thumb drive dongle falling off.THIS DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE MICROSD CARD'S READ/WRITE SPEED! I checked and got identical results for this and for the adapter that came with my microsd card. If you think its slow, get a faster microsd card. HINT: spend a little money and get a fast microsd card.It is a tight fit to get the microsd card into the adapter - be patient and it will fit in. Adapter is also a bit tight to get out of the SD slot but I had no problem using my fingernail.Excellent product.

Non è il primo drive di questo tipo che acquisto. Nell'arco degli anni ne ho acquistati almeno 4 (su quattro modelli di portatili mac diversi) e devo ire che mi sono sempre trovato benissimo. Si inserisce nello slot per le schede SD disponibile sul Macbook ed è praticamente invisibile, perché si allinea allo chassis della macchina. Lo spazio disponibile dipende dalla scheda micro-SD che gli inserite dentro (da acquistare separatamente, in base alle vostre esigenze). Lo stesso ovviamente vale per la velocità di accesso ai dati. Più performante (e capiente) sarà la scheda SD che acquistate e migliori saranno le prestazioni che vedrete durante l'uso. Io devo dire che mi sono sempre trovato benissimo con i precedenti e questo non fa eccezione. Per avere un'idea, io ho inserito dentro una scheda Sandisk da 1 TB, classe A1 con velocità di scrittura fino a 150 MB/sec e devo dire che è comodissima per tenere cose che non uso spesso o per backup istantanei di materiale importante che non puoi rischiare di perdere se ti muore il disco del macbook. - Assolutamente consigliato

This adapter fits flush on my MBP 14 M3. It's snug but easy to pull out using the fingernail groove. It does have the UHS-II extra pins but for my needs I opted for a standard UHS-I card for now since II cards are hard to find and 3-4x more expensive per GB. Still, using a Sandisk Extreme Pro 512 GB card, I get 75 MB/s read and write which is more than sufficient to access documents and even run games. For games, the initial load times are a little slower, but once in game, I can't tell the difference in performance.Now the caveat. As several other reviews stated, your micro SD card fits very snug in the adapter. The easiest way to deal with this is just consider this to be a permanent arrangement and you're good to go (or you plan to recycle the card and you don't care if you damage it or not). If you must change cards, you will not be able to use your fingernail to pull the card out. It will require the use of tools to carefully push the card out. I knew this ahead of time because I had an older version for an older MBP and damaged a $200 card beyond repair while trying to remove the card. I did eventually figure out a way to remove the card without damaging but I will not detail that here since there is still a risk of damage. All I can advise is figure out a way to push the card out and not pull out without exerting too much pressure, go slow, and don't use anything that can scratch the card. Also make sure the adapter is on a flat surface when getting the card out. Other than that, remove the micro SD card at your own risk.

I was a little concerned over the product pictures of the ‘Space Black’ sku, as it seems to be using an image of a AC220V High-Frequency Ignition Board for Plasma/Argon Arc Welding. I took the chance and bought it despite not having an adequate picture. I can say they did a really good job with the color matching. It’s almost 1:1 with my Space Black MacBook Pro.It’s a limited color as it is so I didn’t think they’d put a lot of work into the color, as you can see it’s perfect. The fit is also really good, it’s easy to take out with a thumbnail. The only thing I wish it did is have a better form fit to the edges around the port, as you can see it’s not flush and leaves small gaps, and it sticks out ever so slightly (about 1mm)All in all, it works perfectly fine with my SD Card, I currently put a VM and my steam games on it and it works effortlessly. Fully recommend if you don’t want to use your base storage for side projects.

Pour ma part, cet adaptateur fonctionne parfaitement.* Le débit de la carte SD est le même avec cet adaptateur et l’adaptateur standard fourni avec la carte micro sd que j’ai utilisée. J’ai utilisé le logiciel gratuit AVA System Test Lite pour mesurer les débits.* La carte s’insère et se retire facilement (pour info j’ai utilisé la carte Sandisk High Endurance). Peut-être que certaines cartes sont légèrement plus épaisses et posent des problèmes avec cet adaptateur?J’ai d’abord essayé d’insérer l’adaptateur vide, puis avec la carte sd dedans, pour vérifier que la force pour insérer l’adaptateur était la même, avant de l’enfoncer complètement, pour éviter les problèmes mentionnés dans d’autres commentaires.* L’adaptateur s’insère parfaitement et ne dépasse pas sur mon MacBook Pro 16" de 2021, et affleure parfaitement le bord de l’ordinateur. La finition alu du bord est proche de la couleur de l’ordinateur et ne fait pas spécialement cheap.Alors certes c’est bien cher pour ce que c’est, d’où l’étoile en moins… mais ça a l’air d’être le seul modèle de qualité proposé. Au moins j’espère que ce commentaire vous aidera à l’acheter avec plus de confiance!

Included images of the adapter with and without card. When inserted is flush with MBP surface. Included a photo of the uSD in a standard SD adapter and it is night and day. The adapter is also very snugly held in place. So no fear of it getting lost.

Works great. Thank goodness BaseQi was able to finally release this. Their original UHS-I adapter was great.I paired mine with a Lexar 1000x 256GB V60, U3, Class10 microSD card. Did a stress test and transferred ~150GB test file. Card and enclosure never overheated. ~90-110MB/s continuous write from iStat Menus process. No idea how accurate it is. It sits very flush with the body of a 14" M1. To efficiently remove the card, a longer nail (ouch) or a small prying edge tool might make it easier. Totally worth it to add some additional storage without stressing the internal SSD. Hasn't had any issues booting up and shutting down with the Mac. I leave it plugged in all the time. I just use a USB-C dongle with a bunch of ports and readers to make up for the loss of an UHS-II SD card slot.Keep in mind this product is just an adapter. It is a pin-to-pin adapter. There is NO IC chip, there is nothing that will limit or increase your speeds. All your speeds with this adapter are based on the microSD card you put inside. If you put a UHS-I microSD card in this, you will get UHS-I SD card speeds. If you want to see better speeds, you need to open your wallet for a quality UHS-II microSD card.
