These are great, my dog loves fetching baseballs I throw with my lacrosse stick in field and on the water but chews cover off of them if not watching her. These are the best alternative, they are durable, can fly farther, great bounce, but has weight of baseball, size of baseball, but easier to carry. I can chuck these a hundred yards easy and she prefers them over the baseballs.

I bought these balls, this is NOT a GIVEN TO ME BY VINE IN EXCHANGE FOR A GOOD REVIEW review.The balls seem decently made, they have been through my 8-year-old son's Hack Attack pitching machine 5 times with no sign of breakdown. They seem to go through the batting machine just fine leaving no residue on the wheels (like baseballs with synthetic leather will do). They have some bounce to them, definitely more bouncy than a baseball. Also they are harder than a baseball, so I see how potentially they could damage bats. We use them for practice catching fly balls. We do not use them for batting practice because my son's coach (former D1 college pitcher) says that these hard balls will damage bats. These plastic balls fly farther than real baseballs, probably because of the aerodynamics of the dimples vs the stitching on a real baseball. I would buy these again for fielding practice/catching fly balls. I would not use these balls for batting.

This is a Christmas present and I got them for the pitching machine. They seem like they will work well and are made solid. Can't wait to try them out.
