Bought the battery clamp early in anticipation I would need it. Received product on 6/16 but didn’t get the car back until July 17. Test fitted the bolt on 7/18 and it screwed in ok. Tried to install new battery same day but couldn’t get the clamp to screw in. Took battery back out and did a test fit with the bolt and rubber block and the bolt would not reach the hold down threads. Return date passed and no way to contact seller for remedy. Not any good if it won’t hold down battery.

The guy at a local parts store noticed my battery hold down was missing when I replaced the battery. I'm pretty particular about my vehicles being right and meticulously cared for, so I had to get this right. Sure, the battery is pretty nestled in there without the clamp, but it's good measure to keep the battery secured, so I ordered this product. Due to rust in the battery tray, I had to work the enclosed bolt in an out using the only thing I had available at the time, anti-seize. Yes people, I know I should have used Liquid Wrench, WD-40 or the like, but I had to get er done. Anyway, the bolt to some pretty heavy pressure during the procedure and it held up without breaking! I was quite impressed by that. Finally, the molded plastic piece fit perfectly and comparable to OEM quality. It's a no brainier, this is the hold down you should get if you need to replace yours! Thank you for the quality of your product, no overseas style garbage!
