the factory heat shield on my JK Wrangler was loose and rattling terrible. I took a look and found the fasteners had corroded so I ripped it off and used this and some extra long metal zip ties to hold it over the top of the muffler. It's been about a month or so and this seems like the perfect application of this product. It was relatively inexpensive and super easy to do. Best part is ZERO rattle

Best by far for several reasons, almost no off gassing so far and it's summer in PHX AZ so hot on that exhaust manifold, down pipe and turbo area this is blanketing. Also got the 1/2 thick and it is atleast that thick and thicker aluminum side too, 2 layers and nothing coming through!!! I really like it and will buy more when needed. Also helps with sound resonation, just pricey but EVERYTHING when Hot-Roding is....LOL....

My TV sits on a low stand above my fireplace. I lay it on the bottom (where the TV sits) to protect my screen from the heat. I works great! And you really don’t notice it!

Used this as heat management on my long tube headers. Worked great and so far has been holding up well. Great buy and just as good as the name brand stuff.

I used this product to line the top of my firebox before installing gas logs. In an effort to deflect additional heat into living space. As well protect tv from as much heat as possible.

Don't be fooled by the adhesive layer on the fiberglass, you absolutely need to use stainless-steel zip ties for securing the wrap to the pipe. Other than that, this stuff far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to form to the shape of the pipe, and is thick enough that it still provides an insulation barrier after being secured tightly with ties. Hopefully, this will prevent my drift car from melting any more shoes, hah.

Bought a 12”x36” sheet of this stuff to use as a heat shield on the exhaust of a Jeep with a 360 v8. My exhaust was only an inch away from my fuel line on one side, and one inch from the fuel return line and brake line on the other side. First I tried lava exhaust wrap, which worked some. I then tried this stuff. It is easy to work with, but rigid enough to form it around pipes. I used stainless steel zip ties to fasten it to the exhaust pipes. The radiant heat is very much reduced. My brake and fuel lines now only get warm to the touch. Exactly what I needed.
