Easy to assemble. Scope is lackluster but you will hit the target with it right out of the box. Crank works well, the switch to disengage the crank is difficult to get to and move sometimes.

Packaging came destroyed as if someone opened it or it was pre used. Also there was a slime substance in the strings and I’m not sure what it is. Bow looked good but the packaging threw me off. Don’t know if all their packages come like this but mines did. (Honestly wouldn’t recommend)

I purchased my bow in early December . The 3dot scope is wasn't a fan of. I changed scopes and hunted all season with it. I went out this morning to try n fill my last tag. I sat in my blind and cranked it pulling string. Loaded my arrow. Set it on my shoot stick n about 10seconds later I heard a loud CRACK! The right side limbs snapped. Hoping customer service is good. 2Nd bow ordered n exact same thing by 7th shot! Sighting in

Injured my back years ago and had to give up bow hunting. Talked with my son and decided to purchase this one also, but with the hand crank. Hand crank works well, just needto get it sighted in. It has great speed, and was easy to assemble. Like the fact that the stock is adjustable too.UPDATE: 9/21/2024 I was sighting my crossbow in today. Finally got it sighted in to the 20yd mark. I was getting ready to shoot my 11th or 12th bolt out of it since I purchased it and just as I finished cocking it, I heard a Crack and the limb broke on me. Now I guess I get to see how well customer service and the warranty work. Will update again, when I see if Barnett stands by their product.

I like this crossbow. The assembly was easy and it appears to well built except: when cocking the bow the first time with the included CCD, while switching the No/Off lever to off, the lever snapped off. I did not force the switch. I have contacted Barnett via e-mail (twice) and called the 800 number but was only able to leave a message. No response to date. I would rather not box up and send the crossbow back when the CCD can just be replaced as it is an add on option. I will update pending their contact and resolution.
