This crossbow makes hunting easier and a lot more fun. It is easy to handle and very accurate.

My first RDX 400 was shooting great and seemed to be working good. On my 4th shot the aluminum handle on the end of the bow sheared off from the force of the string hitting the string stops. I could not believe that a part on the bow that should never break broke so easily. Being extremely disappointed that this part broke so easily I returned the bow. Later in the week I found a coupon for this bow, saving $200, so I bought another one hoping my first purchase was just a fluke. My second RDX 400 I had purchased I was excited to get it dialed in and go hunting. Getting ready to shoot my first bolt on bow #2 the Acudraw string broke mid draw which then caused a dry fire and the bow literally exploded into pieces before I was able to get a shot off. I am sure there will be some naysayers that will argue that I didn’t have the Acudraw positioned properly but I assure you it was. The engineering and QC in manufacturing of this product is absolutely garbage. I will not buy another product from Tenpoint.

shot 2" high and 1" to left first shot! dialed it dead on in 3 shots at 20y, second line on scope was dead on at 30y, then next was at 40y and 50y. great shooting very accurate. I wax strings and cables and lube rail every few shots.Very light to hold compared to others I've used, with it being so short and reverse draw.I have the rope sled not the accudrawAlways make sure the arrow is fully seated before shooting. This is why some crossbows blow up.I heard a loud bang and the shot was way off a couple of times and finally realized the arrow wasn't seated tight against the string. Be careful!

Bow was easy to assemble. Honestly, it is hard to understand why they do not ship it completely pre-assembled as all you have to do is mount the stirrup/rail end anyway. Now onto the real review:Firstly, the trigger sucks ass, this coming from somebody who has pulled military triggers (which are also crappy if you didn’t know), and grew up shooting wal-mart grade hunting rifles (which also have gross triggers). You will hear a lot of twaddlespeak on the subject, crossbow triggers have to be different, they work differently than rifle triggers, blah blah blah…. All of that is excuses. For close to 1k, with most of the thing being made of plastic and composite, there is no excuse for a crappy trigger. It is okay. It is serviceable. But it is bad enough that it definitely detracts from the accuracy potential of this crossbow in a noticeable way. That being said…. I have acquired an injury to my dominant side eye and this is why I am moving to a xbow from a compound. I am slowly learning to fire everything left-handed…. Shooting from a rickety card table while kneeling (semi-supported at best, if you will), with the carbon evo-x arrows (not the aluminum ones it comes with), accuracy is around 2” off hand while shooting with my off side. I did robin hood one of the xx75 aluminum arrows on one of the first trial groups (fully supported shooting off a bag rest), so accuracy seems to be fairly repeatable. In conclusion, ARE YOU LISTENING TEN POINT? MAKE BETTER TRIGGERS, AND YOUR CROSSBOWS COULD COMPETE WITH BOWS 3X THE MONEY!!! And now that I got that out of my system…. This is overall a decent crossbow for the money. So far. I will update after the fall if anything crazy comes up

Have had it for a year now and I love it. I've shot about 300 bolts through it. I can shoot 3 inch groups at 60 yards. I haven't had a chance to shoot it at at further distance yet, but I'm sure it will perform well at 70 and 80 yards easily. I got this for bow hunting in Utah(permit required) because of shoulder injuries I cannot shoot a traditional bow. The acudraw works perfectly. If you release the safety on the acudraw you can cock it silently. I got this crossbow for hunting purposes and it has become something that I really enjoy shooting for recreation also. I find myself trying to find an excuse just to go shoot it. Highly recommend.

Is this bow perfect? No, but for a mid-range price bow, it does a good job of balancing speed, accuracy, quietness and balance. I'm on my second season hunting with this bow and it just works. There are some bad reviews out there because of busted limbs, etc. Everyone has issues with limbs. When you're pushing 400+ fps out of a bow that is super narrow, you're placing a lot of stress on the bow. Fortunately, this bow can achieve the speeds without bumping the draw weight to 200+ pounds. My only gripes about this bow are the string/servings aren't as good as they should/could be. The strings and cables will be replaced with higher quality aftermarket strings soon. The final gripe is the alpha nock. It sucks. Pretty much every forum and group gripes about them. I've been shooting half moons out of it since I bought it and it does fine. Make sure to load the bow right and it's not a problem, but do so at your own risk.Anyone having issues with the bow should contact tenpoint/wicked ridge or an authorized dealer, not Amazon or the seller. Tenpoint customer service is second to none, though with any bow manufacturer, things get hectic from mid July through November/December when hunting season is in full swing. I absolutely loved this bow. 3 seasons, zero failures, lots of deer, and a few doubles because of this bow. It can be hard on the cable servings, but this cam has a very steep rollover, and as long as the serving is still there and not cut or fraying, it's 100% shootable. Keep your strings and servings well protected with scorpion venom or similar lubes and they will last. I had 2 seasons in the first set and they main string and cable still looked 100%. The serving on the cables was the only reason I changed, since one started to become loose and slide. The acudraw pro is silent, fast and easy to work with. Absolutely love this bow.

Awesome xbow! Very well balanced vs forward draw. Very accurate, easy to use and will get the job done. No need for a $2500 xbow when this one will perform just as well.
