Me funcionó perfecto para intercambiar entre 2 bombas centrifugas a 120V de 16 amperes, aunque el espacio es pequeño logré cablear todo con calibre 12 awg, el producto es de gran calidad y trae los accesorios necesarios para conexión. Apenas para considerar que solo trae 2 orificios de salida con chiqueadores pero ninguno de entrada, entonces tuve que hacerlo manualmente.

Should work properly. I have yet to hire an electrician to perform the work.No instructions to advise how to connect 2 sources of power to the electric motor.

not much room to work with inside the box. luckily it comes apart easily, and they provide an exploded diagram. so you can retrofit into another enclosure fairly easily. but why?

This is a very well built and nice switch. The housing is small, but to fix the problem, we added a junction box and from pig tail wires coming from the rotary switch, we connected all the wires inside the J Box.One issue we noticed that the wiring diagram the comes with it appears to be incorrect. Position 1 connects #1 & #2 lugs. And Position 2 connects #3 & 4 lugs, not as shown on the wiring diagram..

There are two maintainers in my RV, one for the coach batteries and the second for the chassis battery. Occasionally the coach maintainer needs to be off, while the chassis stays on. This rotating switch does the job. It's wired it so that in position #1 chassis only is on; #2 both are on, and #0 all off. While the switch comes complete with a surface mounting box, I chose to remove it and mount it in the recessed electrical box the old switch was in. The face plate was made out of some flat aluminum stock. Switch works great, and appears well built.

Seemed decent quality, works perfect as in the switch for what i needed if for, but had to take switch with cover and mount it on a bigger PVC box so i had enough room to mount it properly with all the wires

This a good switch. It is very compact with the housing it comes with, so for a novice wiring it, they will be challenged! I like the compact size, and it works well.

I live in Chicago and we have problems with dryness in the late fall, winter and early spring and humidity in late spring, summer and early fall. Unfortunately, it seems that we have to run both a humidifier and arguably a dehumidifier. Unfortunately for us again, the Nest only supports one device at a time. This switch allows the * on my Nest to be used for both. I split the * wire and use this switch to select which relay the signal goes to in order to switch between the humidifier and dehumidifier. I just flip the switch and reprogram the Nest for the device I need. It's not the perfect solution, but it beats having an ugly and dumb humidistat sitting next to my Nest thermostat. The setup is easy and the switch and housing look great. The price is also great as well. You get an excellent quality product for the money.

This is exactly what I needed for installing my inverter in my RV. This allows me to switch between Shore power and Inverter power. No Instruction come with this so you will need an OHM meter to sort out the terminals and you will need to add jumpers to the shore power for Load/Line.If using this for #14 or #12 wire; don't buy this for the box that comes with it. There is no way you will get all the wires needed to fit in the box. I used #14 and and still had to use a 4 x 4 electrical box.

The need: Added this switch on to my car hauler. I put led lights up on the tire rack to shine down on the bed and put some led lights by the ramp loading area and under the front to help with hitch hookup in dark. I needed a waterproof enclosed switch to handle the 12vdc switching.The Product: The enclosure is compact, which is great until you try to get it all to fit inside and then screw the cover on; watch your wire length and test fit before mounting. The box itself has 4 mounting holes in the back and they include silicone o rings to seal those up. There is an o ring for the front cover too. There are 2 knock outs for wiring, they include the screw in bushings with gaskets and tapered seal too. Nice touch. Be sure to put silicone (not included) on the seals.As for the comment about instructions, none packed in the box. Pretty intuitive though. I took out my multimeter to figure out the connections. There is a position 1, position 0 which is off, and position 2 on the switch. There are terminals on top (for position 1) and on the bottom (for position 2).How those work: for position 1 on the switch, you have 2 input terminals, call those 1A and 2A. When you flip the switch from 0 Off to 1 On, 1A connects to 3A and 2A connects to 4A. There is no continuity between 1A or 2A, nor between 3A and 4A. I needed 1A and 2A to share same input voltage wire, so I made a jumper wire and put it between 1A and 2A and then when I turn on the switch, both 3A and 4A output the same. All of this repeats with another set of terminals for position 2. And there is no continuity between switch position 1 and position 2.There are also 2 common terminal rails inside the enclosure as well those came in handy. I added an external connector to power my lights from a battery when the trailer is not connected to the tow vehicle too
