So far, so good. I like the USB charging option with the cradle charging. The battery has lasted me for 24 hours of monitoring and some transmission. It's a good deal for the price.

I like that this battery has a cord to plug it in and charge it, all you need is a USB plug. It also makes your baofeng feel like a real radio!

Haven't used them yet, but did fit on my radio and seem to be heavy-duty enough. I like the USB charging.

These high capacity batteries are a perfect fit for my Baofeng F8HP portable, and are compatible with the standard charger and provide exceptional battery life. They increase the length of the portable by about 1-3/4 inch when installed.One thing I did note is that with these batteries installed, if the radio is set upright on a surface it is actually partially sitting on the bottom of the battery. There are two small tabs on the bottom of the battery which, along with two similar tabs on the radio, are the 'feet" on which the battery/radio sits when upright on a surface. On the batteries that I received, the two tabs on the batteries (rear side of radio) were slightly too long, giving the radio/battery a tendency to topple forward when set on a surface. A small bit of CAREFUL trimming of those tabs on the battery with a X-Acto knife solved that problem.

I have several Baofeng UV-5R variants. Although not on the list of radios these fit, I inserted, pressed into position and felt resistance to click into place. Press up on the bottom and give a little wiggle and heard slight click. Locked into place. Batteries arrived charged at 7.7v, excellent. Placed in Baofeng desk chargers for 6hr top off. Very pleased, both full charge @ 8.47v. Then put on NOAA for constant receive on low volume in spare bedroom. Ran all day and well into next afternoon. I would guess 17hr receive before the "low battery" Baofeng announcement came on. Batteries were still at 6.2v at that time which is when the warning kicks on if you have voice on. Also the low battery icon flashes as expected. These are authentic as counterfits never work with low battery warnings. Bottom feet slightly longer than other Baofeng cells. Easy fix with diamond nail file, shaved off a little on both feet to make even with radio feet. Now no leaning forward. Place radio on table with firm flat placement. Did not try power supplies that come with it. Good cells for the price and received with 7.7v charge tells me they are pretty new and have not been on a barge or warehouse.

I order a single battery under their BTech marketing brand last week, it fits and works great; so I ordered two more under this supposed Baofeng brand. Both have the Baofeng brand embossed in the plastic and they both have the same model number on the affixed label. However the labels are not the same and these do not fit well at all into either the UV-5R or the UV-5G. I REALLY struggle to insert them into any of the 5 radios that I own and they do not want to lock in. Also, as you can see in the picture the little foot nubs on the bottom of the battery is longer making the radio lopsided causing it to want to fall over.I have a suspicion that they may be counter fit and plan on returning them to buy two more marketed under the BTech name. (BTech is owned by Baofeng)
