Works great! I have two doxies. One is 30 lbs the other is 7 lbs and they walk together very nicely on this leash. Highly recommend!

I have a dog that somehow manages to unclip leashes no matter whether they connected to the back/front of his harness or to the collar. I've resorted to using a screw on clip, but that also came undone. So, safety double leashing it was, but dealing with two separate leashes is a pain, and therefor when I saw this one, I decided to give it a try, and if it was good I would get a second one for a friend that has two pups. This leash does stay on, and the clips never came undone. the detangling piece made it easy for him to stay untangled, no matter how much he turned around or twisted around. All the connecting pieces are metal and feel very sturdy. However, the whole length of the leash is flexible and stretchy (when I first saw it I though that the main part would be firm with the dual leashes being bungee), which is great.. unless your dog likes to pull. With a normal leash when mine pulls, I can give him a slight feedback tug and he will slow down to release tension, but with this one there was a constant pull motion, plus fully stretched this leash gives an extra 2 feet of length, which was very troublesome when crossing roads. I would be wary of using this with reactive dogs. So this one was not for us, but! I gave it to my friend that has a Great Dane and a medium sized dog. And this leash worked amazing for them, with the stretch factor making up for their height difference, and since only one of them has a pull tendency, the 2nd dog actually acts as a balancing weight, making it for a smooth walk. And they were able to move around each other without tangling.

Recently got a new 2nd pup. Both are an energetic breed but the new one is much younger and excitable with the new surroundings. I like using 2 retractable but they criss-cross so much and never on the same way that the leashes tangle and won't properly retract. I got this leash in hopes of using the splitter with 1 retractable but I don't think it's going to work for us as a group for some time.The main leash has some bungee to it and a nice padded really comfortable grip with ok length. The splitter is a second piece with a clip attached to the swivel and two shorter bungee pieces to go to each dog. All the clips and joint spots are a good solid metal. and seem sturdy.I just have 2 problems with it, which is more just on our pup personalities. 1) The bungees on the splitter are too short. Even if the age difference wasn't so much, I prefer my dogs to have more freedom. But as it is even stretched there isn't much room for them and the bigger problem is that especially at the start (first .25-.5 mi) the older pup needs to warm up and goes a much slower pace. The new pup is ready to go off the drop and the short gap means he's lagging, this pulls the harness awkwardly on the young pup off the side, and the young pup pulling at a weird angle causes the older pup to slow or even stop until the leash is tripping me and basically have to drag the older one every couple steps. Once the younger pup is trained more, maybe this will work, but that is a ways off and I had been hoping that this leash would be the way to help with that training instead.The second problem is just really another symptom of the first. Being so short there isn't enough lead or way to help get each part of the splitter to clear the other dog. More than once the younger knowing there isn't room to wonder to one side tries to cross and be closer to the older pup, and the leash gets under his chin and when it gets pulled full taut the young pups section nearly clotheslines him.These are a great idea, and a large part of why (at least now) it won't work for me. The construction is fine and if the split sections were longer these could be great, but if your pups don't match speed well, you might want to hold off. The product is fine, but only if it matches to your dogs' personalities.

This is by far the best leash (I have been rescuing dogs for 40 years) I have ever owned!! Its quality is 2nd to none!It can be used to walk both dogs together, which I thought would be a challenge, but what I found is that they don’t pull as hard when linked together because they are actually considerate of one another! Which I found to be soooo sweet!!Also, when I walk them separately it can be used to walk just one as well. You just hook the 2nd lead to the ring toward the top, that was put there for that very purpose. The hardware appears to be very solid and secure as well. I’ve been using it for these two large lovies for over a month now.The handle is awesome, great grip, and soft.The best part is the “bungee” like part that gives your dog some room to move about without pulling you! I’m 5’ nothing and weight 100lbs so my big boy weighs more than me, and it can be challenging to walk him at times, but this lead has fixed that. I don’t have to pull as hard to gain control with this lead either and it NEVER gets stuck up under one of his legs, which I really love!It’s pretty too. I love the gray color, and it came very nicely packaged.I highly recommended this lead… I honestly do not think I’ll ever have any other kind of lead. If and when this one wears out, I will order a new one from this seller without question.

Works just as intended. It’s also cute and durable. I love the bungee portion, that way one dog doesn’t pull the other. Oh, and they don’t get tangled because there’s a swivel!
