This is one of the items that you really like when you see it on Amazon; then it's even better than you thought and you love it when you receive it. It's too nice to leave in the closet with my shoes on it so my primary use is in the RV as a collapsible shelf that is easy to set up and use while cooking.

So I didn’t use this for shoe storage… I ended up putting it in my front closet and using it to store things like sodas, hats, dog leashes, etc. And it’s absolutely perfect! As you can see from the photo it holds a lot and is very sturdy. Super easy to stand up and seems really well made. Plus, it looks great in the closet! Saves a lot of space for other items.

What I love about it - The design of this is really creative. It looks really nice and the functionality of being able to adjust the height or fold it up for storage is really cool. Super simple to set up!What I don't love about it - It's pretty wobbly and would not hold much weight well.

This is such an ingenious design. I love the versatility and minimalistic design of this shelf. The bamboo looks great with everything and it's timeless. It's well made, very reliable even with weight on it. It's so neat how it collapses down to almost nothing. Each layer of shelving can be opened all at once or you can leave some collapsed - which actually looks amazing because of the modern lines in the design. The uses are only limited to imagination, it's an all around versatile and stylish shelf.

First, I like that there was literally zero assembly required here. The rack came collapsed down, and you just stand it up and flip the sides outward to put them into the position where they support the level above them. Nobody likes putting things together, and this was as easy as it gets.Next, I will say that this show rack looks very nice. Bamboo has a great look to it. It looks like a premium wood.Now for the potential limiting factors of this shoe rack.Be sure that you see the dimensions in the listing so that you understand the size of this rack. I really don't see you putting more than 2 pairs of adult-sized shoes on each level, which means this rack will only hold 8 pairs of shoes. Not a lot!Next, consider the weight of the shoes that you put on this rack. The way that the sides stay outward and support the rack is by putting tension on hinges. If you are putting a heavy pair of boots or shoes on the rack, you are going to be stressing hinges that will eventually fail. How do I know this? The rack comes with extra hinges and screws in a little plastic bag. That was a little concerning!Next, even when this rack is set up, it's not the most stable rack. If you bump it from the side, it will sway. It's not a really stable rack, but it should be OK, unless you really hit it hard or your dog runs into it.Last, I personally feel that $39.99, the current price, it pretty high for what you are getting here. I think this would be 5 stars at $24.99-$29.99, but at $39.99, I am going to have to reduce this to 4 stars.Not a bad option here, but beware of the potential drawbacks that I noted, which might be a bigger or smaller deal based on the person.

Aesthetically, the design and looks are great with a small footprint. Very light and easy to assemble (like an accordion). Taking off a star due to the quality. It does feel flimsy. When you do start putting shoes in, it does make the rack more stable with weight. I wouldn't put any heavy items on it as it may not be able to support it. Otherwise, just what we were looking for to store our shoes.
