This is great primer. My favorite characteristic about it is that it is ready to spray straight from the bottle. It is self leveling, applies smoothly and leaves a durable surface once dry. Really good stuff and comes in several colors to complement whatever colors I’ll be using on my projects.

Sure, they state if it gets too cold that it may be unusable. But two orders in a row (one replacement) I got the same kind of worthless primer. It hasn’t been cold enough to warrant the defect. So either the factory is refrigerating it or I’m just getting a crap batch of product.I loved this stuff. But apparently I can’t order it without wondering if I’m going to get a quality product.

The title says it all! It is self-leveling, and has great coverage without covering any of the fine details.

Love when you get stuff on time or quicker. That being said, product does what it's supposed to do. Paint stuck pretty well on units after this coat was applied. Would recommend for anyone doing 3D prints.

This is a polyurethane-based primer for model kits and miniatures, most comparable to Vallejo's surface primer, but unlike the Vallejo it achieves a rock-hard consistency after adequate cure time (~24hrs) and can be sanded without gumming up.The 'trick' is getting it to adhere in a smooth, solid layer, rather than running and congealing in details. On plastic, it takes a light dusting or two to get some initial tooth, then subsequent (light!) layers can provide the necessary coverage. The instructions state to keep layering until the underlying color of the material is no longer visible, but with white primer that's too much. Three very light layers does it and then the model is ready for painting.

Tried the 3 tone 4 oz. primer and it worked beautifully. Only bad part is- i used up the white really fast. Ordered the 16 oz. and have been using it for about a month and it seems to work as well as the 4 oz. Have been using it in a badger patriot double action and a badger 250 single with great results on plastic and wood. Recommended .
