By no means am I a crafty person. I had these ceramic pumpkins that were dull. I painted them for depth but wanted something to make the pop. This pearlized paint did the trick! First time using mod podge. Love it! One of the pumpkins is original and the second is the one comple.

I have used this product for many years and LOVE it. I have used it to pearlize my paper flowers, and also glass items when I prefer a pearled look. Also note that the more coats, the thicker the pearl surface is. Love it!!Remember, though, this particular spray product is NOT intended to be used as a Mod Podge glue for decoupaging. This spray product is strictly to be used for a “finished” look. Also, the more coats you spray, the more pearlized look you get. In other words, the first coat will be more clear, the second, a little more heavier, etc. until you get the desired look you want for your particular project needs. PS…. Not intended for “glittered” projects unless you specificity want to dull your glittered finish.

Works on a myriad of different mediums. Shockingly, I've even had some success even on metal with no primer, though for most circumstances, I think I'd go in with a base coat of at least something. I bought this as an alternative to Mod Podge Pearl (which seems to sadly be discontinued per a conversation with Plaid), and ultimately, while a spray isn't going to give me the same effect as that for card-making, it has alternatively opened my eyes to adding touches to home decor. In case anyone was curious, to compare (mediums aside), the finish here is much less opaque than its former counterpart. This really seems to be for adding a pearlescent shimmer, and for that, it's perfect.

Since I paint my rocks and pots, I found out that this spray leaves my pieces with a gorgeous pearl like color, no more brushes for some of my pieces needed.Thank you, it was a very good buy!

This is definitely a great product. The pearlized finish comes out very uniform and dries very quickly. It doesn't even have a terribly strong smell to it. It's a great way to provide a consistent protective sealant coating and pizzazz to your project at the same time. I found absolutely no drawbacks with this product. I also would say that I had a difficult time finding this particular brand: it doesn't seem to be sold in stores. So, I was extremely happy to find it here. So, I would say that if you're thinking about it, buy it.

Used it extensively on painted glasses to seal paint and glitter. Easy to use, does a good job. Don't see that much difference between this (pearlized) and regular modge podge on the finished product.

I sprayed this glaze on a phone case that was covered with a dark purple glitter. After two light coats of this pearlized glaze, the dark purple looked lavender. I would not recommend it for dark colors.I re-applied the glitter and will use a neutral glaze next time. See attached photo.

I have purchased this item twice and I'm placing another order. I have not found this spray at my craft store. I have used it on acrylic craft painted surfaces, silk flowers, sea shells,plastic, wicker, ceramics, metal, glass, etc. I recently painted an old desk white with aqua drawers and used this spray as a top coat. The desk looks new and the white and blue just glows, many compliments. This spray gives a beautiful shimmer on all my craft projects. I compare it to buying a pearl paint like Martha Stewarts white pearl craft paint or Folk art metallic white.It can make any color look like pearl paint with just a light spray, can add another coat for more shimmer.. It has a pearly sheen like a sea shell, Not a glitter look and does not change the color that you spray it on. I have used it on sea shells and now they have a iridescent glow. I highly recommend this spray to add a pretty pearly sheen/glow on many surfaces. Try it, you'll love the look!
