I love this little swing set! This was an affordable option for me as the weather cools down. The shipping was fast and it came in two boxes, one larger and the other smaller. It looks great in our backyard and my 3 year old instantly fell in love. The set itself is nice and sturdy and comes with a ground anchor kit. I highly recommend anchoring this set to the ground because it’s on the smaller side. The swings are good quality and have an adjustable chain for multiple lengths. The swings are mostly rope and then have a chain higher up, which is nice for little hands. The height is perfect for a toddler. I love that the ladder can be used as a rock wall. The small details of the chalkboard and sandbox are really nice for something compact.I paid to have this swingset assembled by a professional carpenter. I deducted one star because the wood did have some minor cracks. Given that a professional did the job, I think the cracks speak more of the wood quality being on the softer side. It took three men approximately six hours to complete from start to finish.Overall, I am very pleased for the price paid. This is a very functional little set and I could see any child from 2-7 enjoying this. Beyond that it might be a bit small.

It's a good product. Looks great and reasonable value.Did take me a good 8hours alone to put together. And then another day for the protecting - light sanding, 3 coats of Roxil charcoal stain, followed by 1 coat of clear waterproof silicone cream. The Wood is not the strongest, as its softwood, but seems strong enough if assembled correctly. Hope it passes the test of time.Highly recomended if you have the patience, time, and are reasonably good with DIY.We picked up a separate swing seat from Smyths Toys.

The decision to purchase this swing set has proven to be a wise one, as my nephew has found immense joy in it. He's constantly asking to go outside and play on the swing set, and it's wonderful to see him so happy and engaged.

It comes in two long thin boxes needs two people to carry. The wood is all pre cut and mostly drilled with holes. The wood is kind of light and cheap. I split two pieces while assembling, I was still able to use the pieces but you have to be careful. I used the video that you can download it to assemble. But half way through i felt it was easier to use the written instruction book. Its nice that you have to choice too use both. I thought the written instructions were very easy to read. You really need an impact drill and a regular drill to assemble. Not sure how you could do it without those two essential tools. The kit comes with the proper bits. It took me 10 hours to put together. You might laugh at me but that's how long it was for me. Now if you had help maybe someone gathering the pieces and handing you tools and the wind is not blowing everything around you might be able to do it in 4 but good luck. The instruction says 4 hours but a lot of time is spent just looking for the pieces. I did the whole thing by myself. There are a bazillion pieces to this kit. It is all very well marked but still its a challenge to gather what you need for that step. Finally after assembly the kit comes with 6 skewers that you screw in the ground that attach to the frame of the swing set. I thought this was a very nice touch. It really secures it, this is where you need a drill the holes for the skewers you have to make yourself. As i said the wood is cheap but once put together it felt rock solid. I was surprised and pleased as i tested it and felt no sway or give. Also just so you know this set is for younger children. Its smaller then your regular swing set. I'm 5'4" and my head can touch the top bar for the swings. Time will tell but I'm happy with this purchase and wanted to give someone an idea what to expect. I added my own monkey bars and swing seat. did not come with kit.

I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase of this swing set!!! As long as you have people to help with assembly, I say BUY IT NOW while it's still in stock! It was by far the best quality one for the money and I spent hours and hours searching online.INSTALLATION: it took 4 of us around 6 hours total (including cleanup) to built the swing set and we worked right along, organized everything quickly, with multiple drills and no hang-ups so I'm not sure the 4 hour thing is realistic unless you're used to building swing sets as a job. That being said - laying out the wood on tarps organized by letter and the bags of hardware in numerical order (you can just use the lid of the small box) was really helpful so we could quickly locate parts and not get frustrated. They recommend screwing the base piece of wood on the slide before you put the slide together - this didn't make much sense to us so we pieced it together, then drilled and it went super fast and required no extra measuring/guesswork.ENJOYMENT LEVEL: Our 3 year old LOVES this!! The chalkboard is excellent - the chalk (not included) shows up so well on the plastic board - all chalkboards should be made out of this stuff lol. The rock wall is so cute and easy for young climbers to learn on and there's plenty of space to hang out in the tower or underneath it. We added a pirate wheel and a play telescope and he enjoys both of those aspects but they are definitely not necessary.SAFETY: As a parent, my favorite thing is that this isn't a humungous swing set so I'm not worried about him climbing up alone into the tower or being in the tower even if we are in another part of the yard or watching through the sliding door - I feel safe with it being closer to the ground than some of the larger, more expensive ones. The slide also isn't too huge so I'm not worried about him falling off of it. The fort in general is very well enclosed with the wood bars and mesh on the sides. I REALLY like that for his age, the fact that there is only one side that's really open of the fort so there's no accidental falls out of it backwards or anything. I'm 5'4" and weigh 135lbs and can swing on it (it does sway and the wood makes noises more with me, but it supports me just fine!) and I also can fit up in the little fort with him. The slide is narrow so I cannot fit down that but the sturdiness of the entire set is great and we are very pleased with it! My dad weighs just under 200lbs and also could sit on the swing - he didn't really swing - just sat - but it didn't have a problem holding his weight.EXTRA: We also added cute little solar deck lights to the side and the top and they worked out really nicely.
