Planted large seeds per instructions, they came up well. Roots can pass through this material, so can be planted directly in the ground

These little pots keep things tidy and truly help with planting and not disturbing the roots of your plant.

These pots are OK, but the roots had a hard time growing through them, especially the sides. Soil would feel wet around the plants, but would still need watering as the roots were still in the pot. The plants also seemed smaller compared to seeds started just in soil. The second time I used them, I poked holes in the side and bottom to let the roots out before transplanting into bigger container and that seems to help.

I bought these pots due to they are organic so they can be planted into to the ground which makes transplanting easy. I’ve purchased similar items in local stores in the past and thought I’d give these a try. The only complaint is the size of the pots - I wish they were a little bigger so my starts can get a little bigger before I transplant them into the outside world. Overall, they are what they say they are and are working beautifully with my plant babies.

I'm very happy with these small starter planters. Just about perfect for my needs. I got the 2.4 size which is more or less the same size as a standard bar shotglass (for drinking alcohol). They're not too thick so you want to be very cautious about overwatering your seedlings. Once you're ready you can plant them right in the ground/planter or they're pliable enough you could peel away the sides (or just the bottom) and plant them like that.I think these are a pretty good value.
