These frosted glass nail files are perfect for keeping our baby's nails short and smooth, to prevent face-scratching.So many of these frosted glass files have a sharp tip on the file's end, which is extremely dangerous, and could result in a baby being cut or even (gasp!) poked in the eye. It makes me nervous just looking at those files with the sharp tip. Even for adult use, I would not want a sharp tip on my nail file.These files have a safely rounded tip, making them ideal for safe filing of nails.

The nail filers look nice, but they didn’t seem to do much. Used this on a newborn’s nails, but they were flimsy nails. I’m not sure if that’s why it didn’t really do what I expected. Also, I wasn’t a fan of the noise from filing. Reminds me of scratching a chalkboard😅. Ended up returning the product.

These are really small and straight to the point. It was good for when I was in the hospital those first nails that are close to his skin so I didn’t want to use a filing machine that may have been too much. But as he gets older and his nails become firmer these require a lot more effort to get his nails down to a non sharp size. I’ve also already lost 2 of these. So overall I’d recommend for the first newborn week or two

I really wanted to like these baby nail files so that I wouldn't feel like I wasted money opening the package... 2 stars because the package arrived promptly and the nail files were in tact. I'm upset that I don't think I can get a refund since they're not worth the price.Sure, they filed my newborn's nails, but barely. If anything, they actually damaged/split one of the nails even though I filed in one direction and was not aggressively filing. My baby nail clippers did a better job, even at rounding out the corners. Save your money and get a nail file that actually does a good job, or gain confidence, adaptability and patience with using nail clippers after you washed your baby and while they're asleep.
