Using these to trim bird claws, they work well and no chance of poking the birds.

If I could give these more stars, I would!! I was gifted a pair of these for my baby shower and I was able to use them and comfortably cut my girls' nails. They are easy to use, and do a great job. I have purchased a pair of these for every person I know who is pregnant.

This product is definitely my favorite for baby care. We have been using these scissors since the baby was born and up to two years old and I think we will continue. The scissors are thin and short, which makes it convenient and safe to cut the baby's nails.

These are great nail scissors for little ones. Both my toddlers ask me to clip their nails weekly. Easy and safe!

Bought because my toddler hates grinders and I lost the clippers I use with them. Bought this just to experiment with such weird scissors and it works great. Easy to use and feels safe. I juss tried on my own nails and it worked fine.

Cutting baby finger nails was one of my biggest worries as a new mom, and they grow FAST. These are so easy to use, and we have never even come close to cutting anything but her nails. I found I can get a way better cut, which results in her scratching her face significantly less. If you’re debating these, I strongly do recommend them.

At first,i was not sure about using scissors instead of a nail clipper. This was our best decision to go with Simba Scissors. They work perfectly for my 12 days old little boy, we cut his nails when he fall asleep and he never woke up during nail care. Its super easy to do with these scissors, i really recommend this product. 👍

When my daughter was tiny, I hated cutting her nails. With a passion. My husband did, too, so we were in trouble. We decided to team up and try to share and help each other through the misery. We had those baby clippers that are just small adult clippers. My daughter was wiggling all over, so my husband was the cutter and I was the spotter. I was right down at her fingertips, and when the clipper was placed, I'd say, "Go!" if all was clear, and he'd clip. Well. Epic fail. One time, the last time we used clippers, I said go when I shouldn't have, and my husband clamped down right in her little finger. Hard. I'll spare any details, but it still makes me cringe! So now I have baby #2, and after only filing my daughter's nails after that experience, I needed a better solution. I happened upon these scissors in a desperate Amazon search, and figured I'd try them. Even though they looked awful. How were these going to be any better than any other gimmicky baby nail-cutting product?Boy was I wrong! As soon as I got them I could tell that these were actually going to work. And I was right. The little shears are so tiny and sharp, you just safely slide the one under baby's nails (I hold it at an angle so the scissors are almost sideways), then trim away. The sharp factor made me nervous, but in fact, I see SO much less potential to do damage with these. They allow you to get the cutting done fast - wiggly baby and all - and more importantly, safely. I just repeat to my baby in a very stern tone, "Hold it. Hold it. Hold it." He gets a concerned look and amazingly stays relatively still. I can cut all 10 fingers and toes in about 4 minutes flat. Tops. Worth every penny and then some!!!!!
