Absolutely love this sound machine, got one for my son and now have another one coming for my baby girl that’s due in April! I love the app controls. I will say, we moved within the past couple of months and it’s not wanting to connect correctly at the new house, but that might be user error and need to look into it more lol. It’s a good sound machine with lots of settings at a good price compared to all the other ones out there!

This was bought to help our son know when it was ok to get up. (he used to wake up before the sun came up and make everyone else be super tired) We programmed it with bedtime and then wake up time and it has worked wonderfully. It has helped with his sleep training. The colors are bright and he likes that it's like an extra nightlight. The settings are not hard to figure out and you can set it all up in just a little time. There are plenty of sounds to choose from and we found one that he likes best.

I absolutely love this product! I love all the features it has. I love that I can add “programs” to change the sound and colors at a certain time to act as an alarm clock for my son. All of it can be controlled by app which is very useful. Great quality and plenty of sounds to choose from!

We have had a Harch for 7 years but one of the kids recently broke it. I actually thought I was ordering that brand when I got this one. I like the sounds, the app is pretty easy to use, and it’s easy to set up.My main complaint is that the light is still very bright even on the lowest setting (1%), MUCH brighter than the Hatch. I covered it in a white towel and it’s STILL too bright.Also, it’s a bit hard to be precise with the volume & brightness percentages/levels (I want sound to be the exact same level when it switches light color and it was hard to get it at the exact same level for the program).Finally, the power cord is pretty short.I like it but honestly I would buy a Hatch if I had to do it again.

First off, I probably still would have liked this product without the app, but the app is a very nice quality of life feature. I like being able to change the sound, volume, light color, and brightness with a few taps.It seems easier to use if it stays plugged in, but I'm also someone who still prefers wired headsets.The light color has several different options, however we keep ours on red since red doesn't degrade night vision. We are currently using it in our room by our baby's crib.I recommend playing around with it before using it at night. Some sounds are much louder than others even if you set them to the same volume.

I used to have to put baby to sleep in our bedroom and play YouTube lullabies until he would sleep and now he can be put to bed and sleep in his own room! This machine has so many choices it’s actually crazy and it is VERY loud when you need it to be. My little one can sleep really well with this machine! The color options are great you can dim the light or have it full blast. There is a fingerprint button on the top that you can place your finger on and it dims the light or brightens the light! I use the app on my phone to work the machine cause it’s just easier for me but if you don’t have that option you have the buttons on the bottom of it you can switch through colors and sounds. If you do end up turning of the machine it won’t reset it which I love, it just goes to your selected music or noise and color that you had it on previously! In the app you can also pick favourites so you don’t have to select which noise you want and color! Pick the noise and color and add it to your favourites and voila! The size was smaller than I expected but I also was expecting a boom box to come in the mail! For how loud it can be the machine is perfect size! I take it with me in his baby bag or when I travel I put it in my check on!

Update: I received the Hatch Gen 2 as a gift, I can now say with certainty, that I do indeed prefer the hatch, however there are pros and cons to both. The momcozy will work in a power outage if fully charged beforehand, the hatch will shut off entirely without power/being plugged in so it’s also less portable. I still have not downloaded the mom cozy app for the sound machine because I simply don’t want or need to, especially when all the tactical buttons on the machine make it effortless to use. The hatch NEEDS the app! I like the sound quality and dimmable light features better on the hatch than the mom cozy. And that’s about it.BOTTOM LINE: mom cozy is better price and better if you don’t want to rely on Bluetooth and WiFi and have an extra app. Hatch is better sound, light control, app experience, and eventually will be a sleep trainer “ok to rise” scheduling for a young child. I would have been just fine without receiving the hatch as a gift and continued to use the mom cozy sound machine!Original post:I debated buying this or the Hatch sound machine that looked almost exactly like it. I’m SO GLAD I bought this! I had it on my baby registry, was able to use my completion discount, and it was on sale, so I got it for less than half the price of the hatch! To be clear, I never bought the hatch, so I have no idea how good it really is. BUT. The light choices are great, not too bright or dark, perfect for just the right amount of light for night time feedings. It might not be bright enough for night time diaper changes, but if there’s another night light in the room, you might be fine. The 34 sound choices are great with adjustable volume. I love the tactical buttons on the machine, which means I DON’T need to download yet another app to my phone to control this. I can see why having the app is nice, but for right now, this machine is all we need. The charging device does have a backup battery so if power is out, or you have to take it to another room, you don’t have to worry about bringing the whole cord along too.If you’re looking for a sleep trainer, I would go for the hatch because of the programming and the app features…but if you just need a sound machine and a nightlight that is simple and is easy to use, and half the price of the hatch, get this! I’m glad I did!

I decided to buy this machine as I needed a lamp and a white noise machine. And I'm so glad i found it. The 2 white noise machines that I have always turns off its own and it's not easy to move and stretch to turn it back on while carrying/feeding a light sleeper baby. It has many sound options though I frequently use the lullaby option and turn on the white orangey light. I love how I can control the intensity of the light as well, to the dimmest when my 7mo is asleep. And I would lower down the volume before turning it off eventually too. Sometimes when my son is awake, I would play the good morning sound and on the colourful lights just for fun. There's also a timer option for when I want the machine to switch off but I've not use it yet. I wish I have gotten this machine sooner. The only thing that I wish for is for my husband to be able to pair the machine to his phone without the app logging me out automatically. It seems that only 1 person can pair it to their phone. But it's okay, when my phone is out of reach, I can physically press the on button and it will auto on to the previous setting. If you're thinking of a smart white noise machine that doubles up as a lamp, this is it!
