This is a really good sound machine. I have gotten 2 now. One is 5 years old the other is 2 years old and I have not had a problem with either one they both work great!! And I rarely turn them off durning the day most the time they are going all day and all night. Never had an issue. They are durable and will last! Lots of sound options too. About to get my third for my youngest baby. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely love this product. We got it for our daughter and have been using it for almost a year now with no issues. Love the sound selection that it has and the light is perfect to keep on at night for diaper changes and late night feeds without disturbing anyone. We also got the portable machine for travel and it works like a charm.

I am very particular about my sound machines. I have used a Dohm sound machine for YEARS and I love it, but I wanted something a little smaller and lighter for traveling. I am now using the Dreamegg instead of the Dohm at home. Keep reading for a few take aways:CONTINUOUS NOISE:If the sound machine stops, I wake up. It is imperative that my sound machine have a setting that stays on all night. It's nice that this one has the option of different times if you want.QUALITY OF SOUND:I only use white/brown/**any color** noise. I'm not sure the color noise that I am using but it is deep and immediately puts me into sleep mode. The volume is good - loud enough to keep sounds from interrupting my sleep. I'd say volume wise it's comparable to my Dohm.OTHER FEATURES:It's nice to have the light for when I travel. The light is soft and not too much. The size is good. A little smaller than my Dohm but not by much. That really doesn't matter because at the end of the day, I need to sleep and will carry/travel with whatever I can to make sure that happens.I recommend this if you are looking for a good sound machine!!

I did a lot of research in order to find the best white noise machine for my first purchase, and this was my decision.Upon receiving the Dreamegg, i was first impressed with the sound fidelity from such a small form factor. I find it to be similar to my Google Nest Mini Home Gen 2. You can tell by the design of the speaker that thought went into the quality of sound. The machine has 3 different groups of sound , Fan , White noise, and Lullaby's/ Nature. and each has a few to select from. I really only use the white noise or fan, but the other sounds seem high quality to me. Now reading other reviews may lead you to think that the all the different white noise selections are the same and not distinguishable from each other, but im here to say that is certainly not the case. The choices range from Low pitched white noise through to higher tones depending what you like, i prefer the low tones/pitch.Next is the night light which is just great! its not blindly bright, and its a nice warm colour. They really got this perfect if your a mother feeding, its not bright enough to read book but its perfect for checking on the baby, and it doesn't hurt your sleepy eyes! Win Win!!

I have been thinking about what to write in this review since I got it because it such a great product for so many reasons. I would really recommend it.I have had chronic insomnia for at least 25 years. Then I developed a nervous system disorder and now my nervous system does not shut off and it’s very difficult to sleep. If I do fall asleep, the slightest thing wakes me up and jars me just enough that I cannot fall asleep for hours if at all again that night. I cannot nap during the day and so if my sleep is ruined during the night I can’t make it up during the day. On top of this I am an extremely light sleeper. I swear if a mouse farts in the Barn it wakes me up.I have had to sleep with a fan on for my entire adult life. This is really a problem in the winter and in small bedrooms. Recently I moved in with someone with small children who scream a lot. The screaming really sets me on edge and stresses me out and increases my anxiety. Which then makes sleeping harder, etc etc. aside from all that I also am an introvert and need alone time just to myself. I love my family but these are the things I need. This thing is WONDERFUL and exactly what I needed!! It goes loud. Loud enough for what I need, but most of the time it’s on less than half volumn. I don’t know if it would drown out the rave next door type sound, but it covers a lot. I still hear percussive sounds but they aren’t as jarring either. I have also been sleeping deeper than usual. It creates a peaceful little cocoon so that I can relax and have the best chance at sleeping. The volumn goes from very quiet to very loud so it’s easy to find the best setting for my needs.Now the sounds themselves. I am very picky about my “fan” noises. I did not think the fan sounds sounded authentic, but they were all pretty nice sounds and no breaks, they were continuous sound. But because none sounded like my actual fan, I couldn’t use them. They were nice though, and I think they would work for most people. The white noise sounds were also great and I found one that lulled me right into being relaxed enough to sleep. It’s perfect and my go to setting now. The other sounds like chirping birds and rain were also pleasant and for someone who just needed a little help relaxing or refocusing at bedtime those are nice too. I just didn’t find them to be constant-every-second coverage that I need. But there are so many sounds total that there should be something for everyone.There is also a nice soft glow night light IF you want it, or it has a fade in and out or completely off. I haven’t used the timer functions because I need my sound to run solid till I get up or to drown out the outside world. I did try the time function though and it seemed easy, you tap it and it shows you 30,60 or 90 minutes. It’s also small and so can be put into my suitcase and also takes up little room on my nightstand. The buttons are also slightly depressed so you can tell where the beginning is and count over the number of depressions till you find the one you want to change without having to lift your head to look.I LOVE this machine and don’t know what took me so long to buy it. It works exactly how I need it to. I don’t think I can ever live without it again! I never thought I could find something to replace my fan but this product filled the bill. I would recommend it.
