The scale seems accurate and easy to read. The only problem is that if what you are weighing is not centered or moves it will tip.

As a long time dog breeder that needs to track puppy weights and adult dogs, this scale has changed the weighing game. I used to use a postal scale for the last 20+ years (maybe 3 purchased in that time) but was difficult to find a bin or basket to fit the small base and wiggly puppies or adults could take forever to get an accurate reading besides keeping them from feeling uneasy on it. We’ll my last postal scale quit working accurately so I looked for a new type. This Kazatec pet scale was just what I needed. Easy to put together, wipe down for sanitizing, great value, quick and accurate results even with a wiggly puppy and the display is nice and bright for easy reading. I love this goes up to 220 lbs too, with the removable tray. That will come in handy for bigger weights as well.

Bought this scale to monitor the weight of my 3 year old cat who has heart disease, asthma and diabetes. These conditions are difficult to manage and sometimes cause her to not eat. I use the scale to keep track of her weight. My weights and the weights the vet gets are also always the same.

I was skeptical because I’ve had some bad luck recently when it comes to ordering anything online wether from Amazon or not. But I am very happy with this purchase. I have a dog rescue and having a little scale to weigh little dogs is super important and it has to be accurate so I can administer the correct dose of medicine as well as monitor their weight gains or loss to assist in assessing their over all health. Obviously being a rescue I have a very tight/strict budget. So I’m very thankful this reasonably priced scale is sufficient and easy to use.

Worth the money! This scale is perfect for weighing my pup! It can weigh in killograms, pounds, and ounces! Assembly for the tray was super easy! I would not recommend this for any large dogs though (would be too small for them). I'd say small to medium sized dogs would be fine as long as you keep them in the middle so it doesn't tip over. The tray is roughly 24 inches long and 10.25 inches wide. You also don't have to keep the tray on, but it does give you more room to work with.

The previous review was in error. If I could delete it, I would. I cannot. So I will update it. I have had this scale for over a year and it has always been accurate and reliable. The only problem was of my making. It stopped being accurate and remained so through a battery change. I discarded it and ordered a new one, and gave this one a bad review. Later, when getting ready to take it to the land fill I decided to try it again, and when putting batteries in noticed something stuck to the bottom near one corner. Kibble. Cat food. I scraped it off, and the scale worked fine. I now have two perfectly good scales, one of which may end up donated. I apologize to the manufacturer and to anyone who read my previous negative review.

This is a great item, works great, can be used for babies, but I use it to keep track of kittens weights, also used for people. It is so much easier to use this scale at home instead of going to weigh in clinics weekly!

Right out of the box, this was easy to set up and use. I had a package of spice sitting on the counter and decided to toss it on the scale to see what it would say. It was spot on accurate. I bought this scale because we need to monitor the weight of our 16 year old cat. He's lost so much weight over the past couple years and he's now at the point where if he loses another 1/2 lb, we may need to say goodbye. Using our people scale (holding him) wasn't accurate enough when we need to know ounces. This scale will help us monitor his weight and make decisions when the time is right. (FYI: he's acting normal but possibly has cancer which is affecting his ability to absorb nutrients. We're treating him for that, too, and have seen some improvement in his weight...but this scale will help us know when the time is right. It's not just yet.)
