This is my SECOND purchase of this item since the first one did not work properly and I had already given the other to my job was not able to return. The first time the light up globe did not work properly and several issues. Gave this a second chance. The dome does work this time around! Batteries (two times now) dead on arrival, and lots of paint chipping and minor irregularity in product... but does not stop one from enjoying this fun toy!

This bead maze is very colorful. The board as well as all the beads are vibrant and diverse in color. There are two separate bead slides, one being larger than the other. There is also a large button that can play lights and music. You can turn the music off for just lights, which is good at times as the music is a bit loud. You can also turn both lights and music off. The button is very easy for our 9 month old to push. This toy is smaller in size, the base rectangle is smaller than a sheet of paper in dimension. But the base is a solid, thick wood material. This is a great size to sit in front of baby; ours plays with it sitting on the floor but also can pick it up. He really enjoys this toy and we enjoy that its developing his motor skills.

I got this bead maze for my nephew who is visiting. He’s been really into sea creatures after his visit to the aquarium, so this ocean inspired bead maze was perfect for him. I love that the toy came with 3 AAA batteries, so it’s one less thing I had to worry about. My nephew loves the music and light show that’s activated by pressing on the dome, he especially loves it when we turn off the lights. The best feature of this bead maze is that it has 2 play modes, meaning you can switch to a lights only mode when you need some quiet time. This is a great gift for any toddler in your life.

Vibrant colors, fun bead maze for little ones. Well constructed and well made. Plastic beads slide easily over the coated metal sliders. A nice feature is the domed plastic bubble attached to the base. Comes with 3 pre-installed AAA batteries which are accessed from the underside of the base. The on/off switch is located here as well. The switch has 3 positions, the “on” position allows for activation of lights and music from the dome. The color of the lights change, and so does the music, this can be changed by clicking (pushing down once) on the colored dome. The mute position for the switch allows for operation of the lights only without the music, and the off position stops both operations. For a simple looking toy, it is surprisingly mulit-functional and nicely made motor skills learning toy.
