I bought this to help hold my husband's bladder/urinary catheter drainage tubing to his thigh. Due to dementia, he has a tendency to want to pull at the drainage tubing.This stuff is extremely sticky and can be tricky to work with...there's a learning curve.Although meant to hold surgical dressings in place, it's the best that I've found so far for this use. It also holds well even after him showering.To avoid skin trauma, do not pull quickly when removing.

While it works very well, sometimes too well. A feeding tube involves a dressing that is criss-crossed around the tube opening, fastened with medical tape. The kind you can find is usually too narrow and you end up having to use 4-6 tapes when 2 of these will do very nicely, in addition to cover half of the dressing and half on the skin. It can become tricky taking the dressing off and it will have to be cut off at times, but does not irritate the portion that adheres to the skin. Love the product - so glad I bought 2 rolls and will continue to use only that. The neat this is the you determine the length you need or want to use, as it has very easy to use cutting lines on the portion that is then removed and taped to the dressing.
