I use this tape to hold my ailerons on to my remote control planes, at least those that do not have hinges. The tape really sticks and the ailerons really get used when flying. Have never had one come undone.

I use this tape both with model aircraft and also to hold bandages in place. It does both of these jobs great. I've ordered this tape more than once. I make sure I always have a few rolls on hand.

Blenderm is light, very flexible, and nearly invisible. These qualities make it ideal for rc model airplane hinges, and I've been using it for nearly all my hinges on small (24" wingspan or less) models for two decades. On ready-to-fly foam models, hinges are typically very thin foam and thus weak. I use a couple of pieces of Blenderm to reinforce those hinges without messing up the model's appearance.But its usefulness is not restricted to hinges. Anyplace on the model where reinforcement is prudent, Blenderm is a much better choice, in my experience, than the frequently used packing tape. So I will sometimes reinforce leading edges of wings and horizontal and vertical stabilizers with Blenderm. It's a staple of my supply drawer.

I didn't expect a roll of 3M BLENDERM Surgical Plastic Tape to turn me into a part-time surgeon, but here we are! I used this 4-PACK for skin, and let me tell you, it's like having a mini ER in your own home. The waterproof feature is so reliable that I'm thinking of making a skin-diving team. And it's hypoallergenic, which is a fancy way of saying it's nice to your skin - no surprise allergic reactions here! 3M, you've made me the neighborhood "Dr. Fix-It" with a roll of tape, and I'm considering opening a dermatology clinic in my garage. 🏥🔧🪚😷
