I wasn't able to set up the device at all because the app wouldn't recognize my newly created account which I tried to redo multiple times. Without the ability to set up a new account the device is completely useless to me and probably most other people.

I bought this because I was worried about chemicals in our new construction home. I’m happy I bought it, because I can keep an eye on the chemicals, but I also found out that our humidity was very high, so I bought a dehumidifier as well. Our co2 was also high. It helps me know when it’s time to open a window which is great as I am expecting and also have two other small children in the house. Helps with peace of mind.

The unit seems to do what it's supposed to but the Android app constantly says it can't connect, but the iOS app is fine. Check out the app reviews in the Google Play store. So if you only have an Android phone you probably don't want this.

Very easy to install and use, quite beautiful and minimalistic and seems to be quite accurate based on my testing so far. App is also good overall, though could be better in terms of data analysis.

I had one for a year, but began seeing suspiciously high TVOCs when my furnace turned on. So I got a second one, then performed the TVOC calibration in the app, and they were within 20% ppb of each other consistently, which is actually quite good for TVOC sensing. The rest of the metrics were within 1%.BUT, I was still seeing high TVOCs correlated with my furnace turning on. After trying new filters, and venting rates, I finally tried to dehumidify the air intake into the furnace. BINGO. The TVOCs dropped to from a having peaks of 3000 ppb to about 400 ppb (its been a few weeks now).It turns out that our exceptionally cold and wet winter in California makes combustion of the humid air “run rich”, meaning that there was a higher fuel-to-air ratio. This leads to uncombusted hydrocarbons in the exhausted air.I am so glad I had this device to even know that this was a problem to fix.

This device provides valuable feedback on air quality, has a decent and useful app for phones, and is compact and good looking. I purchased the Awair Element after my floors were sealed, kitchen cabinets painted (with oil paint), and all my walls were painted. I did not want to breath all that junk, so after letting the paint and floor cure for a week, I put Awair Element in my home to monitor the VOC levels. The feedback I received was useful and I didn't more back in until the air quality was safe. (It took about 3 weeks after painting for the home to get to safe levels. I aired the home out frequently during those weeks to help move things along. Even now after 3 months the kitchen cabinets are off gassing (they still stick a little), but there is enough air circulating in my home to keep the air well in the safe zone.)

I bought this yesterday, extremely easy to use and the LEDs are easy to read if you don't want to directly open the app. The app is also straightforward to install and use, the USB C connector makes it easy to connect with any standard 5v 2a charger. The info seems useful and will be be buying a dehumidifier as humidity seems a little bit high in my house, also will need to open the window more often to reduce that CO2 concentration (BTW the base of 400ppm seems really high compared to a few decades ago).

Smart device. Covers all the air quality parameters of interest to me. Be sure to check what the readouts mean on the app for each paramter. The display gives a quick sense of what's going on in a room. You can learn a lot about, for example, how cooking effects the kitchen etc air. I'm sensitive to air pollution so I have two of this located in the house.
