Economical, sturdy and space-saving five guitar stand. Easy to install. Once upright poles are snapped in place, the stand is sturdy enough to hold five guitars and basses...just don't pull on the upper bar and it's fine. Thick foam wrapping protects guitar body and neck. Best of all, it's compact. Depth is only 16", so since guitars sit at an angle, this will only stick out about 20" from the wall.

Comes with some basic picture instructions. But honestly, to the people complaining about the instructions or the nkn-pre drilled holes (the padding, not the metal bars)... Come on. If you have enough technical knowhow to tune a guitar or change a string then you can easily but this together. It's not rocket science. Sturdy and simple. I'd recommend it.

I purchased the 7 guitar stand. The good:- Holds 7 guitars easily. I even crammed two more in by using capos on the ends for additional positions. This wouldn't work for acoustics or large bodied electrics, but it can be rigged to hold 9 bodies (strats, teles, solid bodies).- Fairly sturdy. Despite the fact that it folds down for storage, it is quite sturdy enough for guitars. I wouldn't snatch and yank on it once assembled, but if you don't handle it roughly, it should be plenty stable.- It does fold down for storage. That's a nice feature.- It's a simple design that comes together pretty easily, though there is a caveat below.- The spacing is wide enough for most acoustic guitars. I have several and had no trouble fitting any of mine in there as long as I kept it at 7 guitars. The bad:- The instructions are hideous. The only thing good about them is that upon close examination of the images in the instructions, I realized that the foam padding covered some of the screw holes. I didn't cut it as others have done, but I did bunch it up to get access to those holes. Once I got the screws in, the foam looked fine. I could cut it back, but why bother? Anyway, I had to wing assembly, though it did take a few minutes to figure out to look beneath the foam for holes. The English translation of the instructions was out of a bad translation dictionary. I am not looking at them now, but it's little stuff, like if you called a post a column or if you referred to a nut as a fastener. Those are NOT specific examples of this, but generally the kind of things you'll face with these instructions.I find this product represents a good value for the money. If your engineering skills are poor and you REQUIRE good instructions, take a pass. But I'm probably about average on things like this and it only cost me a few extra minutes. If you look at the pieces and the assembled product, you can probably figure it out without much trouble. And if you do, you'll have a decent stand at a good price.

I'm doing this review after just initially receiving the 7-guitar stand and putting it together. I have not had it for a long time; so I don't know how it will stand the test of time. I gave it 5 stars because I've got no issues with it at this time. If I have issues, then I'll come back and adjust my review. Otherwise, I consider it a decent product for a cheap price, and would buy again, and/or recommend.I read all the reviews, studied the pictures, design, problems, etc.. for all the 7-guitar stands in the $30-60 price range, and this one seemed to be the best of the lot. The upright mounting brackets have 3 spot welds (versus 1) and no one complained about them bending or breaking off, like on some of the other stands. The other complaints seemed to be mainly shipping issues, missing/wrong parts, surface rust, and holes not lining up. I received it in a few days with... no shipping damage, no bent or missing parts, no stripped screws or anything, and all the holes lined up just fine. It went together very quickly and easily. It did have the smallest amount of surface rust on the very ends of a couple of the tubes, like someone had mentioned. I mean, the very end though; where the tubes were cut. No big deal at all, as it'll never be seen once snapped together though. I guess I got lucky. I don't know. Just like the next person, I'm no fan of the cheaply built, slap-together, sweat-shop labor products that you find online now-a-days, but.. I bought a 7-guitar stand for $28, that seems to be designed/built well enough to do the job it's intended for. It's not built like a tank, and I'd spend more money on something that was, if my intention was to take it on the road. It's just going to sit in the practice room and hold guitars though.

Exactly as pictured and described. Fits 6 electric guitars and 2 acoustics (see pic). It would fit 9 electric guitars or basses perfectly. Instructions were essentially useless. You’ll probably do best just using the picture as a guide. Assembly isn’t too difficult. There are 4 screws that come through bottom of the legs (see the pic where my fingers are) but the receiving side is covered with foam. If you look closely, there are small slits in the foam for the screws to go through.I saw someone post that there is rust on the inside of the metal frame/tubes. This is normal surface rust that happens when metal isn’t treated. The inside of these tubes obviously are not. This is not rusting through the metal. Just surface and just on the inside. Being used inside your house/studio etc (as in not outside in the rain) the rust shouldn’t get much worse or effect the product. But if you’re worried about it you could get some rust neutralizer. Personally I’m not worried about it. I mean it did only cost 34 bucks.I also saw a post about the neck frame being bent. When the box arrived it was in less than stellar condition (someone with the seller may want to look into this) and I feared mine would be bent as well. Luckily mine was not bent or damaged. Unfortunately, other than returning for a replacement, only thing you could do is try to bend it straight. If you do try to bend, take your time and bend slowly.
